I just called Disney and learned three things:


3. I must have horrible speech because the voice recognition system when prompted to spell my name as I said it merely said "what you talking about willis?"

I am waiting and praying for FD. I called and told I had a pin code but that pin code was just for 25/30% off but POP wasn't included, i definately wanna stay there unless I can get FD somewhere else. I hope they run FD again. I was initially on the MR Wonder cruise and now we have moved our money to the Fantasy so I missed out on the FD offer that expired Dec 2010 for book thru 2011. I really hope hope hope they run it again for the end of Sept. Good Luck to all in getting pin codes!!

I have my trip booked for July and I am hoping they add FD, I would love to be able to upgrade to a different resort or upgrade to the Deluxe DP. I called and was told the same thing that further deals were coming down the pike in March and April, so I might have hope yet the CM said. So we shall see.

I just got off the phone with Disney and was told that I have a free dining pin attached to my name, but that I cannot book it until March 1st. The CM said he couldn't see what dates it was for yet.

I was just told the same thing. I just pray that it covers my dates and hotel that I have already booked. I have no flexebility on the dates, but I can sure change the hotel

I can not even imagine how busy they will be on March 1!!!

What really worries me is that even on March 1, it sounds like these codes have to be 'attached' so many of us will still be waiting. I am really praying that March 1 shows us a public code for summer.

As for everyone calling on March 1, at least everyone who calls won't be calling for the same dates.

I believe you have to book a package - meaning a hotel plus at least 2 days of park tix. FYI, values resorts get the free quick service dining and the mods and deluxes get the regular dining plan.

I know this is just guessing now but does anyone think/know if your trip can end after 8/13? (IF the dates are 7/1-8/13). I was looking at checking in on 8/13 & wondered of the FD would be carried thru til the end of my trip? Anyone venture a guess or heard something from a CM? Thanks ! Patiently waiting!

I'm curious about this too. Our trip starts before the 13th, but ends after it. The 13th is in the middle of our trip. I'm pretty sure that we'd both be able to use that pin code if we can get it, but it would be good to find for certain. I hope we get the code!!!

They used to give you the discount for the whole stay but they don't anymore.
Unless they change something with the new pin.

I thought FD was the only discount that would allow you to check in on the last day of the discount and have it go through the rest of your vacation, even if the dates aren't in the allotted period? Room discounts have to be within the designated period.....

That's what I think, too. I may email my TA and ask her about this to double-check.

I certainly hope this is the case!
