Actually, the pin is not new and yes it is given out by VMK staff in the event the code for the VIP badge is defective. It has never been given out at the parks as of yet.

I have had this pin since September.
It was given to me by VMK_Bear through the VMK game, because the VIP badge code I was given at DLR was defective.

This pin has also been given as a prize, I believe for the song contest a couple of months ago.

I also got if for winning the VMK song competition a few events ago (the one we had to set words to "It's a Small World".

I have seen it on a couple of other guests too. One said Staff just gave it to her for no reason. VMK_Mocha has had hers for several months now and did get it for taking the insider tour.

I remember some girl saying she had got hers from singing within the park.. I assumed on stage or something, but she must have meant the IASW song event.
