New Park Announced!!

I was playing around on the Orlando Sentinel's website when I found this

"In a meeting on Friday, March 31st, Robert Iger announced plans for Disney’s 5th Park in Orlando. The new park is planned on opening fall of 2010 will be a version of Tokyo Disneyland’s “DisneySea”. Mr. Iger stated the company will base the plan on Disneysea but will also include a pavilion with Sea Animals. Walt Disney World plans on capturing back an audience lost to Sea World. This new park will be constructed between the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Preliminarily construction has already begun, in disguise or a new road. Mr. Iger also stated that Walt Disney World will plan on unveiling a new “Moderate” hotel with an underwater theme that will be inside their “DisneySea” much like Grand Californian in Disney’s California Adventure..."



I believe it is going to be in tomorrow's paper!!!! I AM SOO EXCITED!!!

Since the press event isn't scheduled until 4/07 this was obviously a joke but very wishful thinking. Maybe it will be true after the press event.

At the moment, we don't have plans on the drawing boards to build what I would call new parks in the United States. We certainly have plans, and the desire, and the ability to expand what we currently have....

....you will see expansion in California and in Florida, but again I doubt you'll see, at least in the next decade, a new gate.

Ok guys....... This was an APRIL FOOL's JOKE as I already posted... It is NOT funny anymore.... actually it wasn't even really funny when I posted it... I do not actually think that there is going to be another park.

I wrote a FAKE article with absolutely NO merit. The only thing real about the article is the heading "Scott Powers | Sentinel Staff Writer " Which I stole from someone elses post. This is NOT real. This is NOT going to happen. Another thread opened up about the possibility of a "5th gate" here on the Rumors board if you would like to post on there you are more than welcome but as of right now this thread has warn out its welcome, let it die in peace
