New owner few questions

Excited just received my membership info and points are in my account. Just a few questions before we book our first trip.


1. Can we use the magic express from the airport to Disney?

2. Was looking to do a Disney cruise after our visit. Does Disney provide transportation to their ship from Disney World? (I wouldn't mind taking a cab but have 2 little ones and no car seats)

3. Should we always put a hold on our home resort and wait for the 7 month mark if we really wanted to stay at another resort. Just in case its the other resort is booked. For Example looking to go early July so I should book the days for my home resort until the 7 month windows opens then cancel my home resort and book the other resort.

2. Yes, but it's not free.
3. And, yes, it's what lots of owners do.

Yes

The one way cost is $35.00 per person for Disney transportation from the airport or resort to the port.

3. Should we always put a hold on our home resort and wait for the 7 month mark if we really wanted to stay at another resort. Just in case its the other resort is booked. For Example looking to go early July so I should book the days for my home resort until the 7 month windows opens then cancel my home resort and book the other resort.
This is what most people do to ensure they have someplace to stay for the time period they want to travel.
