We just bought a house and need a new oven. Please tell me why you love or hate yours :)

I don't have one but if I could get a new one I would want an induction cooktop with a convection oven. Induction is AMAZING.

Avoid KitchenAid! I bought a new stove/oven, refrig, dishwasher, and microwave in Jan 2013. The repairman has been here so many times for the oven or refrig, that I have seriously lost count. The oven wouldnt ignite properly filling the house with the natural gas odor. I basically ended up replacing everything but the metal frame.

Kenmore elite double oven. I loved mine at my old house. It's the one appliance I would have taken if I could have. The top oven is like a half size but perfect for our normal use (unless roasting a large chicken or roast beef). The bottom I used only a few time a year but on hi days it was fabulous having both going. I also saved money because it was less has to heat the top oven to temperature and maintain it.

My current house has a Bosch convection oven. It's a piece of junk that I am replacing as soon as I can afford to

I don't have a single separate oven, but love my LG appliances. My range has an oven that is conventional or convection. The convection setting bakes so evenly. Love it.:)

I loved my Frigidaire smooth top stainless oven. It was a mid range model ($1300 or so at Best Buy). The chicken nugget button was awesome.

I have a GE right now (probably lower end) and it's okay.

I really like my kitchenaid double oven/stove. we like a gas stovetop and like the configuration on it (the center burner which goes almost the entire width of the stove top is ideal to make gravy w/drippings in a full size roasting pan). the upper oven is what we use almost exclusively-the size is fine for most items. the lower oven is no smaller than a traditional single oven-and the convection feature is wonderful.

we opted to replace our microwave at the same time w/kitchenaid as well. I REALY like that it has a heat sensor on it that automatically throws the fan on if the oven/stove top temp gets too high.

we've only had 1 issue with it, and I found that instead of dealing with the store's repairmen (sears) a call to kitchenaid resulted in an authorized repair person who was much more adept at correcting the problem

Viking.

No other words are necessary, but I'll try. This showstopper is amazing. It's gas on top, electric inside. One oven is convection, one oven is smaller and traditional. I have 6 burners plus a grill top that has a griddle for the top or a wood butcher block for prep. My hood has warming lights.

Yes, you could buy an entire car for the price of this oven. But, this Viking will last 3 times as long as a car, and still look brand new. Yes, it's excessive and expensive. But, it's everything I've ever dreamed of.

This oven will undoubtedly add tons of equity to your home. When it comes time to sell, it will overcome other issues people might have with wall color or hardwood wear and tear, all because when someone sees this thing, they will NEED to buy your home.

I am trying hard to come up with one thing I don't like about it, and I'm coming up empty. It's amazing.

GE Monogram! This appliance package (oven, micro/convection, dishwasher, range) was in our previous home and I loved it. I have a Viking double oven and separate Viking range now and I hate them. But, as the pp stated, one of the reasons we bought this house was because of the Viking ovens and range. Lol. It was the only house we saw that I could handle living in without ripping out the GE Monogram range from the previous house and taking it with us!
