New Orleans lodging info

Ok. We are going to New Orleans in May (for a cruise, but will spend all day sat and sun there).

There will be 7 of us. All adults. We will need 4 beds (provided 3 of them are double and or queen).

I would like a big suite of rooms or a condo.

Anyone have any recommendations? I would also like (I know...) free parking.
We will use the trolley to get around. Would also like to leave the vehicle at the hotel when we go on the cruise if we can.

This is the ONLY hotel that I know of that has free parking, and I don't know if they allow you to leave your car during a cruise.

As for condos, I've never seen a short-stay one there, and we go there a lot.
