11:18 on a work night and I just can't stay up anymore. I'll be doing the single digit dance tomorrow when i wake up though! Even if I can't post about it until later in the day.

I simply cannot wait until we are there.......like I need to explain that to anyone here. :)

Yesterday AM was 9 days and DH and DD started dancing... They didn't even know single digit dancing was "a thing" here.
I can't dance in the AM. Not even for Disney.
My single digit dance is the one that involves checking and rechecking and changing the contents of the "to be packed" basket. Still layering? Long sleeved shirts, shirt sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, and a bathing suit? I'm resisting looking at the inaccurate weather.

After all the drama at work this past week, I am so ready to see Mickey!
We leave on Sunday Morning!

:cool1::cool1: 2 more days!!! :cool1::cool1:

You're so ahead of me!! We leave one week from today. I have everything we need but other than my sons summer stuff I haven't packed a thing:rolleyes1

As for the raincoat? Yes. Or at very least ponchos. Best case scenario you won't need them. On our 2011 trip this same week, we did have one day that it just poured. It rained like cats and dogs most of the day. I have a very distinct memory of standing under an overhang across from Toy Story Mania with about 30 other people who were trying to stay dry for a minute. Even with ponchos we were soaked. It was still a wonderful day but it's best to be prepared:)

8 days!

This is my first trip with alone with my youngest. I did one with my two older children, so he's been waiting for "his turn" for a long time. I get sick on some of the rides now, so I'm not sure we'll handle that yet ;). He's 11, so I think I'm going to have him ride some of them by himself. I really don't want to take anything because being sleepy in the parks doesn't sound like too much fun :sad2:. Does anyone have experience with less drowsy dramamine? The regular stuff knocks me out.

Dh takes the less drowsy. He takes one with breakfast before we leave for the day and it helps tremendously. He doesn't appear too drowsy but maybe you could test one at home first so you'll know ahead of time how it affects you.

On our very first day of our very first trip we went to AK, and straight to Everest. Dh got off, stumbled over to me where I was waiting and had to sit on the ground for a good 20 minutes. We then had to go to First Aid where he sat for another hour until he was ok enough to take the bus back to the resort and laid down all day:sad2:
Ever since, we make sure to have dramamine!

That's just not worth it :sad2:. I love the thrill rides, but my middle aged body is just not going for it. Its almost funny thinking about someone having to sit on the ground, but I know all too well how awful it can feel. The last time I rode EE, I prayed out loud to not throw up - with no thought for how I might be embarrassing myself. It must have been a bummer for your husband to have to sit in first aid on a Disney Day. I guess I'll buy the dramamine.
