*** New Official February 2013 Thread ***

What is the one thing you are most looking forward to?

If I have to choose just one, it's breakfast at Tusker House. How about you guys?

Honestly, I'm most looking forward to all the food! :rotfl2: Something about not having to cook or lift a finger to set up snacks for 8 days makes me jump with joy! And I LOVE breakfast food - I'm just too lazy to cook it in the morning!

I'm also really excited that the kids don't remember as much as I thought from the last trip. It's already like a whole new trip with things we didn't do last time, but even some of the same stuff will seem new to them.

Thank you! Everything I was looking for and more!!!

You're welcome! That site is a lot of fun to look through!

What is one thing that you would say is a MUST do in Disney?

I think it depends on the ages of who is going.

For little girls - CRT in my opinion is a must do at least once.

In general, I think Fantasmic is a must see at least once and obviously Wishes at MK.

42 more days to go!!! My DH went to the base yesterday and purchased our park tickets. It makes it seem so much more real when they are right there in your hand to see. Almost down to a month and I have so much to do.

CRT is a must do even for me!! I'm a princess! I'm a princess!! HAHA

I am looking forward to Be Our Guest and photographing all of new fantasyland!! My mantra for this trip has been February is for Fantasyland!

I'd have to say a ride around the loop on the monorail. Seems like a tiny thing, but can't imagine not having done it.

Yes, most definitely depends on who is going. But, generally, well...there are lots I can think of LOL Parades, castle shows, fireworks for sure...Check description on rides before you go..I won't go on Rock n' Rollercoaster anymore because I get too much of an adrenaline rush and it makes me feel like I'm going to die:mad: Just about everything has an "awesome factor" so, it's fun to try it all at least once:thumbsup2

I have to get a picture of one of my boys with Jake, and one of him with Winnie.

The only other 'must' is to take my other little boy to Universal to find Scooby-Doo!!

Hey there!
Can't belive i didn't look for this board sooner! I've been having too much fun looking at the creative boards.

We're staying at POP Feb. 6-12

Questions:

What is the reservation for Wishes some have referred to? I thought this was just another show we grab on Main Street?

Why are some paying in full now? Thought you would pay off the hotel when you check in.

AND...what are you packing to make your tirp extra special? what have you made for the kids/yourself? Are you decorating your window? Special surprises for the kids?

Most importantly, what clothes do you plan to pack considering weather changes?

For wishes, there is a dessert party that you can book. All you can eat desserts, coffee, hot chocolate with a special viewing area at Tomorrowland Terrace.

Watch Wishes. This show is magical and it's the highlight of my day. To just stand there and for a moment have that magical feeling all around you.

Welcome!

You can book the Dessert Party for a different but very cool place to watch Wishes. Check the thread over at the reservations board.

If you have room only you can pay your balance upon check-in but if you have a package (room+tickets or room+tickets+dinning) you have to pay your balance 45 days before check in.

Personally I'm not packing anything special nor am I decorating my window.

I'm bringing a wild range of clothes from shorts to heavy coats. But my plan is to dress using layers so if it gets hotter I can shed some of the clothes off.

Thanks! My husband thinks fireworks are "blah" so we missed all shows during our 2010 visit. I'm happy to know that I was missing something but will make Certain it won't happen again.

YES YES YES My loving son just told me he is taking me and his sister to Disney the end of Feb,,,, We were just there in October for a big family trip....... Im so excited :) We are staying at ASM with Dining plan and 2 day tickets....
Dining reservations are:

Boma
Ohana
Crystal Palace
Whispering Canyon

Thinking about what holder I"ll want for my park passes. I bought tickets through Undercover Tourist. They're not the size I expected (thinking it would look like a sporting event ticket). Won't they add my park pass to my room key so the only thing I'll need is a room key? Are you bringing any special lanyard or pass holder to protect and make visible your passes?
