Le Cellier seating

We really enjoy the Le Cellier ambiance and food, but struggled with the proximity of the seating pre-COVID. The tables were SO close together. It was awkward trying to visit and yet not feel like you should include the other parties in your conversation. When they reopened post-COVID they were spacing the seating so that you were not directly hip to hip with other tables. Anyone with a recent report on Le Cellier seating? Cramped or comfortable? Thank you!

No tables were removed when they were spacing people. They just didn’t seat at every table. It’s been back to normal, seating at every table, for years.

Generally still cramped but there are some table assignments that are slightly better than others. I wouldn't call any of them spacious. It seems to be particularly the two tops that are crammed in so close together that it wouldn't be a stretch to eat off your neighbor's plate. Although we were a party of two on a recent visit and were sat at a 4-top, which was delightful. We have a reservation there next weekend. I can't guarantee we'll keep it, but if we do, I'll take a few dining room pictures for you and report back. In the meantime, this review was from ~a month ago and gives you a good idea of the layout.
