Great thank you...I am excited to go there for supper.
I'm going to post this here and on a new thread under Parks and Strategies for feedback:
Touringplans.com has the crowd level for Feb. 1st at the following:
MK: 3.6 out of 10
Epcot: 8.5 out of 10
HS: 8.3 out of 10
AK: 4.4 out of 10
I thought the first week of February was the lest crowded time to visit but the 8.5 and 8.3 have me a tad alarmedand confused
. Anyone know why these numbers may be so high?
With the cut in EMHs and early closing times for the week, I'm really concerned about the prospect of bigger crowds.
Hey everyone - I'm excited to announce we are staying at the Swan Feb. 22-27. I'm running in the PHM and my DH, DD, Mom, Dad and Sis are coming to cheer me on! Let the countdowns begin!
I do have a question - we want to do a few character meals while we are there. DD will be 2 1/2 and loved it last time. We like Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. Anyone been to Akershus? Any other votes?

We are definite for WL. Woods view with bunk beds. So excited!!! We actually leave home January 24 to go on a DCL Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy, then to WL for our Feb. dates. My twins turn 5 on Feb. 3, and this trip is the last big off season blow out before we have to deal with a school schedule. We are working on planning out our schedule. I think we are going to set up an in room birthday celebration. Six months cannot go fast enough!
We have less than a week before we need to make dining reservations. I'm not sure I need to worry as much about it this time. We have rarely had problems making changes just before our trip, so I'm not sure that the kind of meals we go for are so popular that we will have trouble finding something we'll like on short notice (a week or so before the trip - not a few hours before the meal!)
We're going to do Rose and Crown for dinner one night, but it'll be at 6pm, and my experience is that folks typically wait to make dinner reservations there until 7pm at least. We're leaving the restaurant just as it is getting crowded.
We are going to aim to do Tusker House for lunch and Artist Point for dinner that night. We did both last year too. We're becoming creatures of habit.
Then Mama Melrose for lunch followed by Whispering Canyon for dinner back at our hotel. I don't think we're going to do any of the evening shows this time, so we'll be arriving early and heading back early. I'm not really happy about Mama Melrose, but we just did Prime Time and we don't like Brown Derby.
The day we're at the Magic Kingdom, I want to do Be Our Guest, and I think we'll make lunch reservations, again since we're likely to go back to the hotel before dinner. I'd really like to do dinner there, but I don't think we'll make it. We'll probably drive over to Sanaa for dinner.
My wife is a big pizza fan so we'll probably go to Via Napoli for lunch one day, heading to Kouzzina for dinner.
So excited - we booked a Cars suite at AoA today for Feb 9-15. DS will be 5 and will love being near Mater, Lightening et al. It's his first trip and DH and I haven't been since our early teens. Now that we have that done I need to focus on dining. I am thinking of doing Chef Mickey's for supper our first night to get DS used to the characters and get some pictures to *hopefully* free up time at the parks. Every time I come on this board I come up with more questions - there's so much to think about! My sister will be with as well so hoping DH and I can sneak in a date night. Any and all planning tips are greatly appreciated!
Well, actually, then I probably do need to worry, because I think we do want the sit-down experience. Maybe we'll stick around in the park until dinner.BOG is counter service for lunch so you don't have to worry about an ADR for that one.
