Help Me Change Things Up

Hi there! Heading to WDW for a quick 3 park day visit in June with teenage DS. Looking for suggestions for 3 days with a teenager that includes most of a full day at a water park and minimizing lines. That will be a first for us. Otherwise we’re Disney veterans but mostly when he was younger.

Staying at Coronado Springs (tower) for the first time and both of us are looking for a relaxed pace. He’ll sleep in some. We do park hoppers and like to do Epcot for dinnertime.

With a full day at a water park, you could look into renting a cabana or something similar. It's nice to have a place to throw your stuff and get out of the sun for a nap! Also, I don't know of any way to get in shorter lines at the water park. Perhaps the lines will be shorter closer to closing? I feel like families with young children will hit the water park early and then leave before dinner. That might lessen the crowds a bit.

Not sure if you are familiar with the Lightening Lane Multi Pass and LL Singe Pass, but I'd take full advantage of them to wait in shorter lines. Bring a battery charger though because using the app frequently drains the phone battery. If it's in your budget, the Premier Pass takes all of the planning out of the day so you can go in the LL line without a specific time slot. Premier Pass is truly the most flexible and easiest option, but it is expensive.

We did a more relaxed trip a few years ago and enjoyed the archery at Ft. Wilderness. Perhaps your DS would like something like that? Or a behind the scenes-type tour?
