WTH why would they offer FD for less than a months worth of days ???? its not even a full month, I was really hoping for a fall/winter deal We are leaving Oct 11-22 !

the October discounts will come out in July/August as they usually do. Not sure if we'll see the free dining, but I believe there will be some type of discount. I feel your pain! We are booked at POP Oct. 14-23 and currently paying rack rate for everything including the QSDP. If we have to pay full price, we will, but we are still holding out hope that we will get some type of discount no matter how small it may be.

Since they already offered free dining for a longer time period this time of year, I'd say that the days left off of this offer already had enough bookings for what the Disney marketing folks were seeking. This second offer is there to fill the rooms they desire to have filled.

I'm quite sure the deals are still coming for the remainder of the year. Well, unless the economy turns around and gas prices plummet. So yes, it's as close to a sure thing as you will find.

I'm still hoping against hope that the'll do a FD offer for January. It's happened once, right? My gut feeling is that they won't offer it since they've talked about backing off of the deals, but it may end up being the only way we can go to Disney in the forseeable future. Our children are growing up, and its just not so easy to go in September anymore .
