My Mickey Mail came in the mail yesterday! So excited. It makes it feel much more official. Now just need the Magic bands to get here too.

Yay for Mickey mail! Where are staying again? Are you at a testing resort??
I wish all this testing will be over with. I want to know what's gonna happen for us off siters. It's really frustrating to say the least.

We are staying at AKL which is part of the test. I want to try it out just to see how it works. Figure if it's going to all switch over anyway might as well give it a try.

We are at 32 and got the mail yesterday so you should get your stuff soon as well. If you go through a TA, it does take a little longer.

I actually check in 9/29 but the majority of trip is in October. Anyway, I received my Mickey Mail at about 30 days from my TA. 14 days and counting !

Thanks. Hopefully I get some on Monday! I am always paranoid about the post office putting stuff in the wrong mailbox. It used to happen A LOT. It's gotten better but still happens more than I'd like.

How do you like the form letter response to my question of: I just noticed that the hrs in Oct when I'm going have changed. Oct 6th use to be the EMH park until 10pm, now it's back to 9pm and there isn't a park listed for the EMH. Is this a mistake or will the 6th of Oct not have any park with EMH?

Their answer: We always appreciate when our guests care enough to share their thoughts and experiences with us. We can certainly appreciate your concern at this time but please know that all parks, events and venues are still on schedule. Occasionally, seasonal adjustments are made which make
changes in park hours necessary.

In order to assure the most timely and up-to-date Extra Magic Hour
schedule information, while on www.disneyworld.com select PARKS from the
Home Page, then, PARK HOURS. Enter the date you will be visiting. You
will be able to see all Theme Park hours, as well as, Extra Magic Hours.

where guests can trick-or-treat immersed in the fantasy of the Magic
Kingdom® Park. (Purchase of an additional event admission ticket is

Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite
Halloween costumes. Even better, you can collect delicious candy as you
trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom theme park.

In addition to many favorite Disney attractions, Mickey's Not-So-Scary

Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade—including Disney Characters and
the stars of the Haunted Mansion attraction. The parade begins with a
spook-tacular ride by the Headless Horseman.

Happy HalloWishes—a spectacular fireworks show where the Disney Villains

Many favorite Disney Characters and Disney Villains in Halloween

Unless they changed their procedures, you should receive your WDW mail at the most two weeks before you first day at the park.

28 days!!! Still no Mickey mail yet but its coming from a TA so I know it can take longer!! Just so excited!!! My daughter knows she has a birthday surprise that she finds out on oct 6 (later in the day is her bday party...hoping for Disney gift cards lol). She has already guessed a pony, horse,bouncy house and a zebra lol....she is going to freak!!! She asked to go to Disney on Thursday...(the Disney channel was there) told her its too expensive and she was bummed...I cannot wait to tell her!!! My magic bands should be delivered tomorrow according to UPS!!!!

I don't know if this is what you mean but we are staying at CSR 10/18-10/26 and I was able to book FP+ for Fantasmic! and Illuminations.

That is so exciting!!! Surprises are so fun! We surprised our boys for their b-day in 2007. It was the best b-day ever!!!

Illuminations? How? I'm trying to get Illuminations for either 10/21 or 10/23, but it won't come up? Did you go to the FP+ route first on MDE, or through the Nighttime Spectaculars? TIA!
