Hi all, I was wondering what all of you experienced Disney go-ers thought of the PhotoPass? Is it worth it to buy? It is my kids first trip to Disney. I haven't been in 15 years so need some advice to see if its worth the money? thanks!

If you are going to take them to see characters Yes! ! I have awesome pictures of my niece and nephew meeting the characters for the first time. We took pictures Everywhere too. When we saw a spot we had them take the picture. I had 2 cds full of pictures! Some people have had 4! It's a great thing. If you don't plan on stopping for pictures than no. But I totally would

The Disney Photogs will also take your picture with your own camera, too.

I think its totally worth every penny and I buy it every trip. We have a very tight budget and dont pay for many extras but PP is a must for us.

It's our 1st family trip, and for me it's been 18 years, so I here where you are coming from. We just ordered PP+ and we're pretty excited about it for things like BBB, PL, character meals, MNSSHP... I love the magic shots you can get too!

BUT, have you see the new Disney Memories App?!? It's really cool and we will definitely be using it as well, especially with iPhone pictures we take.

With PP+ my DSLR will stay at home, which so puts my mind at ease - I don't really want to lug it around the parks all day and would worry about it in our room too (my precious, LOL). Just a small pocket camera is coming instead, and the iPhone.

I also look at the cost of a photo shoot for one of my kids at like Sears or something, and it's almost the same cost (or maybe x2) yet you get SO much more (CD and will use that to print photos elsewhere). A independent professional around here would easily twice as much with portraits.

Anyway, my 2 cents. ;)

It came out months ago, but it did just have a huge update, so that may be why people are just now discovering it. :goodvibes

That's too funny. I was thinking they announced it with the launch of the new iPhone 5c and 5s... which is why they are probably promoting the update now... ;)

I have been trying to change my Via Napoli ADR from 3:10 to dinner time for a while now. I've been stalking the sight and the cancellations thread for days now. I finally got one at 7:00!!! I am so happy! Now we're all set. I only have 2 ADRs for this trip and they are exactly the ones I wanted. Ohana and Via Napoli.
So just in case you don't think you can get the ADR you want, don't give up!! People are constantly cancelling.
Just wanted to share.

Well, TOMORROW will be 31 days! But today is almost over so that counts, right? I am getting SO excited reading the posts here every day and on FB. I am sick today - feels like the flu? Stuffy and achy all over. But I am so thankful it's happening NOW instead of 4 weeks from now! pixiedust: Pixie dust to ward off all sickness next month for all of us!!!

Thought I'd share our plans here - don't think I've done that yet.
We arrive Monday at the Sanford airport about 1pm and are renting a car. We've always done the ME so this will be a new adventure for us! We check into POR, in a Royal pool view room! Then head to Epcot for Via Napoli resies at 8:30.
Tuesday - MK day. Hope to do CS at BOG for lunch and then to DTD after MK closes for shopping and dinner.
Wednesday - HS day. I plan on lunch at Starring Rolls - awesome sandwich and HUGE cupcake for dessert. Much better than the cake in a cup you get elsewhere!. Dinner at Biergarten at 8:30
Thursday - Halloween! - Epcot day. Lunch around the World at the F&W festival and dinner at San Angel Inn at 7pm.
Friday - breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:50 (park opens at 9 so we get in for the magical "empty park" photos!) Stay at MK until closing and then CS dinner at maybe the Poly and then watch the fireworks from the beach there?
Saturday - AK day and then we will try to visit the 3 other parks - we always do this on our last day. AND THEN WE HAVE RESIES AT CINDERELLA'S CASTLE during the fireworks! I can't think of a better way to end our trip. It's going to be MAGICAL!!!:tink:
