He invited all of his Police Department friends over.

It was completely awkward.

I don't see why cinemas don't like you bringing in food from home. You payed to see the movie, they shouldn't care about the food. At least where i'm going, it's at a shopping centre, so I can bring it in with a bag from a store there (like I said)
