A little background. 15th wedding anniversary trip for us. We love the beach and also like things very informal and laid-back. I don't fly, am scared of boats, yet I love the idea of an island theme (cause I'll never get there otherwise!). CBR sounds very much like what we are looking for. Does it really have an atmosphere of a Caribbean island? I've read where there are alot of kids there (NOT what we're looking for). But is there a particular village that would be best (we don't mind walking - although Trinidad South looks a little far on the maps) for not having alot of kids around? Thanks.
It is a beautiful resort.
However, we found our stays at CBR to be relatively quiet, no noise from neighboring rooms, and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful.
We stayed in Aruba across the lake, but you sound like prime candidates for Trinidad South.
