So are these only for HOTEL guests? Can camping guests also get the package deals -- add on meal options, etc..? Does anyone know? Would this mean no CAA/AAA discount for a campsite?

CdnMom2,

Nobody really knows. It looks like we will all have to wait 4 weeks until the MYW packages and tickets are released on 1/2/05.

I have found the best source of ticket & pricing information is mousesavers.com

Mary has done a wonderful job keeping up with this everchanging information. On her ticket page she states:

The Walt Disney World Resort will switch to Magic Your Way Tickets – available to all guests, whether or not they stay at a Disney resort hotel – beginning January 2, 2005.

Check out her ticket page here

Although we're not camping, we are also wondering if you can only add on the meals to a package. The new tickets are for anyone, but it sounds as though the meal plans are only available as an add on to a package, like the silver plan is now. It would be great if you could add it to a discounted room, or if they had a great deal on packages (not sure if they typically include campsites).

We have an AAA discount for a room in late April and I'm waiting, impatiently, to see if we can do the meal plan. I think it will work out well for us since we have one under 3 who eats a lot! There will be a lot of food to share with her.

...Gillian said! I, too have "room only" ressies (for a split-stay at AKL/Ft W cabins) in Feb [2005] and I would LOVE to add the dining feature!

I'm getting tired of waiting and it's been less than a week! I need to plan something and all these changes have my trip on hold, LOL. :)
