***NEW MyMagic & FastPass+ Official Information & FAQ Thread***

Hi, I've been trying to reserve my FP+ selections for a trip next week. The site lets me select, prioritize and then shows me the options but won't progress past that point, when I click next it sends me back to make my 3 selections. Is this a web issue or does it mean the FP have all been taken for this date? I have tried both MK and Epcot for two different days, I have logged in and out. No help appears to be available on the site at this time. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thank you for all the great information on this site, I keep coming here with questions, but can find the answers so I don't have to post them. This FP+ issue has me frustrated!

Try a different browser. Sometimes a browser can get "stuck" on some of the fancy stuff, to put it simply.

I think it must be the the website, It won't allow me to mark favorites either. Will try again tomorrow.

Hi, I'm looking for insight on what fp+ means for this parade? Does it guarantee you a spot in a certain park location, or does it guarantee you a specific spot for a certain viewing time. While we won't use our fp+ selection for this parade, I do have a favorite spot to watch and wanted to see if anyone knew what fp+ would entail as far as this specific parade.
Thanks in advance.

It guarantees you a specific spot at a certain time. Right now it is in the Hub. Robo has a great map of the location.

Just thought of something - I've read through this thread, and don't remember it being mentioned specifically, but this is a big thread :scratchin...when we reach 60 days from check in, we can then reserve FP for the length of stay, correct? Like ADR's?

That is what most people seem to be inferring - they get on at 60 days and make all their FP+ reservations...:)

Thanks!

I would also be interested in this info.

Also, does anybody know what happens if you have a spit stay booked? Can you make FP+ reserations beginning at 60 days prior to the date of the first reservation for your entire lenght of stay?

That is correct. At least that's how it worked for us! I received an e-mail from Disney telling me it was time :-).

Probably. :)

The only issue I've heard of is those with APs or extended stay (usually sold abroad) tickets longer than 14 days.

Those people seem to get a 14 day window from their check in date, even of their stay is longer. Then they have to go day by day from there.

This was about 6 months or so back..so it's possible they've worked that bug out.

But, otherwise, yes...for your entire Los.

Can you book your 3 FP+ selections across multiple parks in one day?

For example: Book 2 in MK and 1 in HS

Thanks.

Currently, no. All the FP+ selections must be in the same park. You can change parks up until you've used the first one or it expires.

Several sources indicate that park hopping is very likely to be included at some point, but no one knows when.

Just wanted to say that I just spent four days at the parks and the magic bands and fast pass plus was virtually flawless! Loved it. Two issues, one is that fast passes for TSM are impossible to get during morning hours without planning ahead. Second, I really wished we could get them across parks on the same day.

Otherwise, we simply decided which park we were going to the night before and got our fast passes and didn't have to rush once we got in the park!

Somehow I got on yesterday at 61 days and was able to make all my FP+ selections. Then today I got the MDE reminder that I was *now* able to make them. (And my countdown on MDE says 60 days today.) I logged back in to make sure my selections were still there, and they were. Weird.

Today is our 7th day here. I noticed that the MDE app is working substantially better today than on previous days. Not sure why, but it's faster and with much fewer errors.

I'm a little confused by the sentence I highlighted above. Isn't the actual process of FP+ requiring you to plan ahead? Also, did you mean it was difficult to get a FP+ time slot that was in the morning, or that it was difficult to reserve them the morning of?

Just wanted to add my two cents to the MB/FP+ discussion. We've been here since yesterday and did have several snags w/system....first from home which required two separate almost one hour long sessions w/DVC Member Services and Disney IT people. We kept our fingers crossed everything was fixed so we didn't need to spend another few hours once we got here! However, we've only encountered two very minor issues so far...one when we went to pick up our AP's at will call at MK. For some reason the MB my husband by mail a month ago simply would not accept the AP info. We spent about 20 minutes w/Guest Services last night and finally they ended up giving him a new MB (unfortunately not customized) and attaching the new band to our MDE info. He used his band last to get into MK and it worked. This a.m. neither worked... the band worked but the finger scan wouldn't. A Ticket Supervisor (?) came over to us and we needed to show our paper AP's and ID. He redid the finger scan and told us it will be fine from now on.....so we'll see tomorrow at HS! We were only delayed about five minutes today. However, overall we've had no issues opening our room door, using the MB to pay for food, merchandise, FP+. FP+ worked beautifully today....we changed FP+ times and attraction twice on the fly and set up FP+ for HS tomorrow. After our marathon phone sessions from home, I was prepared to hate it....but I think I'll reserve judgement just a little longer

We just got here and all I get is we have experienced a blip every time it try to change anything. Ugh. Both my IPad and my Iphone5.

I have noticed that whenever I get the "blip" message, it seems to be related to the network connection (wi-fi drops out). That happens alot. Real pain. There seem to be other messages that pop up when the app itself isn't working correctly.

We're here now and using the bands for the first time. The thing I noticed right away is that they're very particular how you hold them to any receptacle. I've been having problems with our room door figuring out the right way to touch it to the lock. Today will be our first test of FP+. Will report back later.
