New Muppet 3D for DHS/DCA

Replace it....very dated, so many of these types of shows are really showing their age........we need new stuff.

Agreed. If for no other reason than clarity in the film - we have HD now, you know.

Same goes for Soarin' - at least update the video to get rid of the specks and artifacts and go full digital HD.

We love the current MV3D but would welcome some new material - it has been around a little while.

Muppetvision was updated with digital projection technology a year ago.

You can get 3D at Best Buy now, Disney is going to have to do better. I've enjoyed all of the 3D attractions at WDW, but it's time for the next step.

I'm not a big fan of 3D. If i watch more than 15 minutes of 3D with glasses, my eyes start to really hurt and i get terrible headaches.

I would like to see them keep the existing one, it's classic Muppets but I would like to see them expand the whole Muppet area. That shop is a shame and I was so disappointed that there wasn't more available. I know the first two movies by heart and watched the show religiously. If Disney didn't want to do anything with it, then why did they bother buying it all?

Give me a ride, some character M&Gs, an awesome shop and the movie.

I have mix feeling about this possible change. Disney's Muppet 3D is a classic so part of me thinks they shouldn't mess with it. On the other hand, I would love to see what they could do with a new Muppets with this decade's technology.

I love the Muppet Theater but I have always hated that stupid little 3D cartoon character. That thing is so un Muppet to me. I'd love to see them get rid of "it" and make it a Muppet only show. Also a new tech 3D theater without the glasses would be awesome. I hate not getting the full 3D experience due to being in a less than optimal seat.
Any new interactive special effects would be cool too.

To not have glasses you would have to use the system the Nintendo 3DS uses on a large scale. The only problem with that is that for the 3D to work, it has to be DIRECTLY in front of it and the Exact right distance from it. so it would only work correctly in one seat. Therefor unless Disney can fix these issues, there WILL be glasses.

I think they'd have a bit of a battle on their hands as the movie isn't bad - just old. Its the last thing Jim Henson directed and also some of the last work of Richard Hunt, so I think there would be a bit of a battle among some of the die-hard Muppet fans.

I'd much rather they expand the presence of the Muppets in the parks first - expand the gift shop back to what it was and add in an actual ride before they take an easy way out and just change a movie.

Interesting. But I really enjoy the current Muppet movie. Also, Muppetvision 3D was Jim Henson's final project -- that counts for something to me.

I agree. I can't tell you how many times we've seen it over the years, but never tire of it. It's in the top 5 of things I love at WDW.

I'm on the muppet central forum as well and they have been talking for ages and some have claimed CMs have confirmed it (ha!) that the FAO thing is supposed to be available at WDW and DL.

(And I always thought the little cartoon dude should be Figment. )

I enjoy it also. I new one...that would be cool too. Just keep the Muppets around and grow it to include new audiences that arent familiar with them.
