New Mummy ride on the way

The dogs of war are upon us and the great eagle in the sky lies down upon the rug of confusion.

Tell yourself whatever it is you think you need to. Bye!

There are no cigars being given out in this thread ...so far.

Good to hear IOAtech and Earl's keystrokes again.

I look forward to experiencing Neutron and Shrek next year, and hopefully the Mummy is up and running in 04. Gault hinted at a good dose of both thrill and sensory experience in the latter. It will really be interesting to see what this attraction entails. We know we won't get many details, but anything that further wets our appetite would be nice.

Thanks MIB, I still have not gotten over there to practice but I did get some secret advice that I need to try one morning. Just been pretty busy for a while.

Thanks for the kind words. It will be a great year, hope everyone will come see us.

Earl, where have you been? You've been waiting on me haven't you...

Good to see youse guys again Earl & IOATech! Now....
in ya'lls' estimation, what percentage is the new ride / attraction completed? 2%? 10%?? Just kidding really!
(Just what ya wanna hear, eh? Are we there yet; etc.; etc.)
Re-upped our APs anyway, even if new ride turns out to be tea-cups!
Jim

Won't be tea cups... and the answer is 0%, 0%, 0%. OK maybe .001%

I think it will be a Dumbo type ride. Come on, WDW has 4 of them in their parks. Universal should do the same! :)

Welcome back Earl and IOAtech. Some of us appreciate your info, and others......... who cares what they think. We'll be down in Feb., any news on the performers for Mardi Gras yet? I'll buy the first round of hurricanes.

Welcome back Earl. I understand you're not going to use these boards to officially announce new attractions. I wouldn't call your vague denials lies. The thread gets long enough someone will guess the attraction. You weren't under any obligation to confirm the guess.

What is the purpose of posting then? Why post to "vaguely deny" that someone got the attraction right on the first guess, and multiple times to boot(if it turns out to be the Mummy)? What purpose does that serve? How is that great information? How is that helpful one least little bit? ?

I was referring to Earls posts in general. I suspect (but will never know) when he started the thread about the Kong replacement he thought the Mummy attraction was closer to being announced than it was. The speculation was interesting to read, even if it didn't lead to a conclusion.

If we want "people in the loop" to post we have to accept a certain amount of gamesmanship. Continue to attack Earl and he'll simply go back to not posting.

why do you care so much? let go dude...

im greatful for all that ioatech, earl, and notatourist do tell us.

Ok that makes great sense...ok from here on out Only some some the stuff that I post will be true. Good luck on trying to figure out what is true.

Easy, direct answers are true evasive answers are just that. Since you have a problem with Earle whey don't you just put him on your block list? No purpose in reading posts from someone you have a problem with.

This was a great forum when IOATECH and Earl posted here. Since they have left, this forum has become somewhat stale. Now, they come back and we have one poster that harbors ill will towards one of them over what I consider a very trivial issue. Thanks for the suggestion of using the ignore option Lewisc. It will be nice not having to read the posts made by that one certain poster.

Nope I only want people that are supposed to be "in the know" to take responsibility for what they post. If a person were so fearful of their job that they can't post the truth or they need to mislead people when they post, then wouldn't you say it was better if that person posted nothing on the subject? What is gained by that person misleading and not telling the truth????? What are they adding to post??? The really bad part is that person seems to pout and recluse themselves from the board anytime someone questions them? Its clear that he likes being the person that everyone turns to get the information or else he would not be posting on other boards, so if he were truly tired of “the scene” then he would not post anywhere. The really bad part seems to be that a lot of people on here accept that type of behavior? Strange, but hey I’m willing to let this post drop and fall off into obscurity if only the little jabs stop. I’m sure it would thrill the poster in question and the mods, as they seem very quite on the situation. Almost like they know that I really do have a point in all of this.

Europa and others -- let's put this conversation to rest. Whoever was wrong or right doesn't really matter now. If this conversation continues, I will start deleting posts.

Thank you.
