So The Bears Disney Nature movie is set to come out on April 18 2014(the day we debark off the ship), do they usually have the newest movies on a few days before they come out in theaters or do they not come out until the first day. Just curious- would love to see this for "free" on the ship. Thanks for any help!!:goodvibes

The Disney ships have a premear showing at 12:01 a.m. on the day the movies are released in the theatres for wide release.

We actually this time got to see Frozen at 1030 pm on the day before release on 11/27/13 it was in 3D and regular. Saw it on the Dream.

Frozen was released on the 27th. If you didn't see it until that night, they delayed it. Normally premEARs at sea are at 12:01 (midnight). It should have been shown at the midnight when the 26th became the 27th.

How long do they keep new releases on? We are hoping to see Mr. Banks and Frozen, we sail January 13th...

The movies onboard typically run longer than they do in land-based theatres. I'd say you're pretty sure of seeing both.

The biggest problem will be finding the time to see both movies on your cruise because there's so much other fun stuff going on.

I can confirm they will be on in January. I called this morning to check for those two. We've seen Frozen but can't wait to see it again. Mr. banks has been on our list for a while now... Can't wait, I've only got 7 days before we leave to go to FL.

We leave in 7 days for Florida as well and I am so happy to see both these movies on the list!!

Okay so Saving Mr Banks is not very child friendly in my opinion. I cried most of the movie and there is alcoholism displayed. Just a head up. It was a great movie just not a kid movie.

Agreed. We went to the premier at Hollywood studios, and that's exactly what DW and I said. Great movie though.

Thanks for the heads up :) pg 13 is a no go for my kids plus it sounds like more mature material.
