I'm WAY behind because I don't visit much, but DH and I decided when I was pregnant to not find out what we were having. It was the BEST decision. What a WONDERFUL thing to hear and see after only 20 minutes of pushing...my beautiful baby boy! I knew in my gut around 16 weeks it was a boy and no one could tell me differently. When I get pregnant again...hopefully in a couple of years, we won't find out then either. Good luck to all you ladies and congrats to those of you who delivered your little angels!

So, coming up for air . Lila is an absolute doll. I am enjoying every minute with her, even the ones in the middle of the night. She nurses like a champ, but we are now if full on stripper ta ta mode. I think my DH might try to install a pole in my bedroom .

Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to want to sleep in her bassinet at night. She can be sound asleep and as soon as I put her in there, she starts to thrash around. If I put her in bed with me, her whole body literally relaxes in a matter of seconds. I am just too tired to fight with her, so she is spending the majority of her nights in bed with me. Oh well. I figure some day she isn't going want to even kiss her in public so I should enjoy this while I can.

I went to the Dr. yesterday, and my normal doc was at the hospital delivering a baby, so I saw her sister. Who was LOVELY!!! She was so excited about the twins, positively GIDDY. I am already measuring 20 weeks. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??????? I knew my pants were tight, but DANG. She tried for a heart beat, but it was to early.. So she looked at me, and winked... Wanna see if the ultrasound room is open??? DO I??? HECK YEAH!! So we got to see the babies. LOVELY!! One was jumping up and down on the other. So far, so good!!!

Well....Lila Caroline made her way into the world at 2:18 pm on 9/2/08. She was 8 lbs. 2 ozs. and 21 inches long. Labor was fast (pit started at 11:30 am - delivery 3 hrs later) and my midwife was great. Was able to go without any meds or tearing. We are home and just feel so blessed to have this sweet baby girl in our arms.

Absolutely a beautiful baby!! Welcome to the world Lila!!

I'm so glad to hear all is well! I measured 10 weeks ahead at 10 weeks also.... it just gets funnier from here, I hate to tell ya'!

Oh BOY. When I told my husband, he just looked at me and said... You are going to get HUGE, arent you? I am... HUGE.

You could be surprised! I measured 9-10 weeks ahead consistently, but did well with weight gain (actually couldn't gain), so i was told repeatedly I "couldn't be" having twins I'm sure it depends on how you carry, too. I was all out in front, so from anywhere but the side I didn't look any different!

Hopefully I will have good news soon... my dr said on my last appt it was going to happen any day and Im still waiting... I cant be more uncomfortable!

Actually, I'm more nervous about getting my cervical length...this is about the time it went nuts with DS#2. Hopefully, it will stay longer and NO bed rest or shots. Will update later!

Thanks Lisa! I am sooooo past the enjoy stage. I can't believe in just a few days I get to see this little guy.

Well, it's still a boy! I only cried a little. She scanned by his legs and I saw his "manhood" and then she asked if I wanted to know. I said I already saw it. She must not have understood me, because she felt the need to point it out and explain it to me.

Baby is healthy and growing well. Cervix is shrinking though, so that means trouble again. We'll have to wait until my next appt. to discuss what steps we will take this time.

BTW, baby was picking his nose at the end of the u/s!

Our little boy came early! Dallas Simon was born on Sept. 6 at 10:13 AM. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. We can't wait to see how our newest Disney fan does at WDW in March!
