WHY have i never heard of a dole whip until i started on this board?
The ice cream / popsicle thing must be contagious. We were eating ice cream cones in Target this morning at 10AM. My kids are LOVING this part of me being prego!

It's killing me that this thread has been quite for a few days so I'll chime in with my life.

My B-Day was Saturday and my DH arranged for a babysitter and took me out to dinner to my favorite restaurant (The Melting Pot). YUM!!!

Also, got a new car last week. The lease was almost up on the old one, so we traded it early for a b-day present to me. Got a GMC Acadia, and I love it!!

DD starts kindergarden on Wednesday (I'm gonna be a wreck).

That's about it. Hope everyone is feeling well!

We also went to menards and lowes to find new shutters for the house. My feet were soo completely swollen by the time I got home. also got new shoes since my old crocs were cutting off my circulation. Got new flip flop crocs.

Everything is good here. Finally getting into gear for this Disney trip. I've sewed Dylan's (2yo) shorts and almost have Landon's (1yo) finished. Then I just have to sew decals on their shirts. Thankfully, we have an Owner's Locker and don't have to worry about packing everything. (also, thankfully, found the inventory list last night finally).

I think my headaches are finally starting to go away...I hope! And I officially look pregnant and not just flubber belly! My belly kind of exploded! (my butt too, but that's not really important )


Good news too! I was one of the first people to book the tour through Cindy's castle! I am so excited! Once inside, I will tell everyone to get out of my house, of course!

We've been busy trying to get the house in order. We had 4 rooms painted (nursery, family room, living room which we are converting to a playroom and kitchen). What a difference some paint makes!

Next is wood floors for the playroom and entrance way so we get rid of the ugly taupe carpet that is over 16 years old and shows all the stains -- YUCK!

Then we'll take a break until Nov when we find out b/g and can start to decorate the nursery.

Yesterday we went to MIL's house and had hamburgers. Midway through eating mine I realized it was SUPER SUPER pink (that's how they eat them, but I like mine well done and it's bad to eat them pink especially for pregnancy women) So i quit eating it. It's 11am here and since 8:30 am I've threw up twice and had diarrhea five times... I can hear my stomach rolling around and it hurts so bad.... I wonder if it's from the hamburger... I don't know if I should call the doctor or not...

Thoughts??

Please call your nurse! That's what they are there for. If you need to be checked, they will get you in. And the other 95% of the time, they are there to reassure you. You will feel much better after you talk to someone, rather than sitting there wondering what if!

I would start with your OB. I hope you feel better soon.

Call your OB or OB nurses. When you're pregnant..everything is pregnancy related!

Hi All!

My name is Lauren and I am 10 weeks pregnant with #2 (I have a 10 year old son who is the apple of my eye)! My due date is March 16th...

I have a pre-existing thyroid problem, had 2 miscarriages and I am 37 so I am considered semi high risk but all seems A-OK so far. We had our first ultrasound a couple weeks ago and we heard and saw a strong heartbeat. I have an appointment with a high risk specialist this coming Wed and an amnio scheduled for 10/1.

Congratulations to all of you...I am super excited to finally be able to post here!

Welcome JB ... and congrats. What a wonderful introduction!
We are semi-military as my husband is in the Guard ... just left FT to take a great civilian opportunity last year .... which, has him still going to work on military installations as a project manager for new buildings his company has won the bid to build. His next project is in Niagra Falls, but we will not have to move. Yee Hah!
I am so glad you are free from a deployment when the baby is born! Those darn deployments are no fun for anyone. DH deployed when my oldest was 6 months to almost 2yrs. Fortunately, that was a really good time to be gone, as she doesn't remember it and when flying into his arms yelling DADDY when he got home, it was sooooo cool it makes me tear up to remember it. He had been so worried, so I spent a lot of 'daddy' time w/ her doing photos, videos, etc so she would know. He even ate supper w/ her at night w/ a big framed photo at his spot.
Anyway. I hope you feel better soon .... I agree w/ you that age and the added weight from other pregnancies make a difference ... I am feeling your pain

I am new to reading this blog, with my first grandbaby (a girl) due any day now. My daughter's husband is in the Air Force, special forces, and deploys for Iraq in the next couple of weeks and hasn't been home with her for the past 3 months, due to shots he had to take, (polio and couldn't be around her) and now his training. Hopefully, Rory will make an appearance before Daddy goes off to war, they are in Vegas so I truely hope so. As hard as it is for our guys, it is just as tough on you woman! She has had toxemia the whole pregnancy and is miserable, hopefully soon.

We can't even come up with one boy name...I can't imagine having to pick out two. And our time is running out quickly.

This really doesn't relate but I just had to tell this. My son-in-laws name is OK, and he is a second. No middle name, just OK. He was the third son so we just figured when he was born, his parents just looked at him and said "yep, he looks OK" and it stuck. If their little girl had been a boy, he would have been Nicholas OK. Strangest name I have ever heard.
