Thank you. I grew up in Frederick, MD, but I have lived in Alexandria, VA for the past 9 years! I'm about 5 minutes outside of DC (w/o traffic!).
BTW- we have had our first family Disney trip planned b/f I knew I was prego. We are supposed to go the first week of August. I'll be about 35 weeks preggers. Is that completely insane?:rotfl:

BTW- I have a sister who is 10 years older and a brother who is 8 years older than me. I was noticing your DC's ages :)

Hi all!!!! I'm Jaime..I'm only about 8 weeks and this is my third baby. I'm right in the midst of feeling pukey and having low energy. I hate feeling this way b/c I love working out and I feel too sick to. Almost everything I eat gets regurgitated. Anyway,I hope to get to know you all better!

Hi Jamie and welcome! I'm almost 7 weeks with #3 too! Congratulations and hope you are feeling better soon.

thanks lisa m for the link...I found everyone!!!:cool1:

I had my weekly apt on fri and I'm 2 cm not that it means anything for a while. but it's nice to know something is happening.. also I think my "plug" came out yesterday..not real sure.. I never had that happen w/ my other 2 kids. I'll keep you informed. :surfweb:

Wow! Well, I went at 18 weeks, and it wasn't so bad, just a little slower than normal, and it wasn't our first trip. I probably could have done it at 35 weeks this time, but by 37/38 I was miserable and there would have been no way! I would imagine that my Dr's would have said no way, too! Hopefully your little ones are still taking naps so you'd get a break every day. We went at the beginning of September, and the heat didn't seem to bother me, even being pregnant, but we always go August/September. We did go in March once, and it seemed just as hot!

Oh, and we're not even 20 minutes outside of DC without traffic. I had an interview once there that was mid morning, after rush hour, and I was surprised how close DC really is, LOL. Since traffic is usually present, I'd have to say it takes an hour or more to get where we are going, normally!

Is it just the three of you? We are so up in the air about #4, because of the age gap, and giving this one a playmate. Luckily, I just turned 30 so we have a couple years to decide, but I don't want to wait 5 more years or it kinda defeats the purpose of having another one for a playmate!

Yay, progress is always good!! :cool1: I have never seen my plug before either. I recently googled and saw some pictures :scared1: of what it's supposed to look like, and I'm SURE I've never seen anything like that this pregnancy either.

Nikki, I love the pics!! Be sure to share more and make them bigger too :teeth:

Welcome Jamie!! My in-laws live in Alexandria as well. We hardly make it out there though :rolleyes1

Candee, not to get into TMI, but what makes you think you lost yours? I lost mine shortly after I was 2.5 cm dilated, but it was still about 1.5 weeks before I had Dom.

Hard to believe that Dom is over 8 weeks old now. We are trying to get him off of the drops for gas and just the zantac. Also trying to do 5 ounce feedings that last about 4 hours instead of 2.5 every 2 hours. He'll be getting baptized in a week at 10 am. We got the gown that my cousin made from the lace (from Puerto Rico) that we used for my wedding dress. It is beautiful. We are so excited for that! Funny though, the next day is my birthday and teh day after that our little guy gets shots

YES..its just the three of us!!! Its funny, my sister babysat me and changed my diapers, yet now we are the best of friends and go out for drinks/dinner and are raising our children at the same time! (She has one 3y.o.)

well..at first i thought it was just from the exam but when I woke up there was a bit of a surprise in my panties and then also in the shower more came out. Later a bigger clump came out. Way TMI I know but I was so unsure I had to ask several friends what it looks like to know for sure.

Anybody hungry:laughing:

HEY GIRLS!

I KNOW!!! Whenever I'm asked his age and say 8 weeks people are like...WOW!! I then respond...he takes after his daddy size wise! :rotfl2: I feel like it was just yesterday I had him. But December 4th is nearly 2 months ago. I am treasuring this time because before I know it, he'll be crawling, then walking, then talking...

They grow up too fast.

Nikki - your daughter is such a cutie :lovestruc

Jaime - Congratulations :cheer2:. The pic of you and your daughters is beautiful. They look so much like you.

Denise - Moshe looks so huggable!!! I love his Pooh slippers. I want to try and find a pair like that because the tiny booties and socks I bought look like they'd fall off all the time.

I'm going to try and do the last of the baby preparations this week. We still have to install the carseat, get the nursery in order, wash some of his clothes and sheets, and find him a name. Oy! I should probably pack my hospital bag too. The baby still hasn't dropped but I'll feel better once these things are done.

Welcome to all the mommies to be :goodvibes

Congrats to the new mommies...your babies are beautiful!!

Is it February already!!!! I've got a busy month ahead of me. Every weekend seems to be full of outings or visitors plus the now weekly Dr appts. Plus the uncertainty of the weather around here. You never quite now what the landscape will look like when you wake up. Last week we were below zero and only teens for highs. Now it is snowing while the sun is shinning :confused3 Makes me nervous for the 45 minute ride to the hospital since we have been know to have snow right up until May :scared1:

My next appt is on the 6th and I will get the GBS test. She said that it will be up to me on wether or not I want internal exams after that.

Its been awhile...do any of you remember when you can first hear the heartbeat with the doppler thing at the Doctor's office??? I'm 8 weeks..is that too early ??? Thanks!:flower3:

I think it is usually around 12 to 14 weeks for the doppler. It depends on the position of the baby.

You can hear the hb with an ultrasound around 7 weeks. When is your first u/s?

THey pry won't do an U/s until the standard 20 weeks.... sigh..... Its hard to believe a little baby is inside me. I need PROOF! (Besides mood swings and irritability)

Listen...don't let the look of the slippers fool you! :rolleyes1 My son still finds a way to kick them off when those little feet get going! :rotfl: I do have some socks that stay on his feet much better than the first set I got him. I believe they are the CARTER kind from Walmart. GOOD LUCK! Those slippers came in with a Pooh basket set. It had a hat, slippers, mits, and a couple of wash cloths I believe. I have to find that hat..it's got Pooh ears on it! :upsidedow

I first heard my son's heartbeat at 9 weeks. I had several U/S too. I guess all doctors are different. I had them at 9, 17, 25, and 30 weeks.
