New MK early entry procedures

So it seems that you can now get in line for Fantasyland and Tomorrowland rides as early as 7:45am for EE instead of waiting at the bridges. We drive and park at TTC. For a 9:00am open/8:30am EE the security area usually opens at 8:00am and a Ferry boat arrives shortly after that, and the Monorail isn't running at that time. Can anyone give an update on timing as to when the parking lot and security open and when the Ferry arrives. I feel like we are always behind the guests arriving by bus and we are usually in the first 10-20 cars in the parking lot.

Just making sure I understand this. So now if you're headed to MK for early entry for 8:30, you can not only get into the Land you're headed to, but even the ride you want, at 7:45. If you want to ride SDMT first, you head there and get in line at 7:45, not 8:30? If so, the only reason I can think of why Disney would make the change is the hope that it would keep people from "walking very quickly" as CM waste their breath yelling "walk, don't run!" at 8:30.

Yes this is the new change that started this week. Not only at the MK but AK as well. It's like what's been going on at DHS for awhile. It's been on many social media platforms. I'm shocked there is not a word about this on the Dis. We will be at WDW shortly and I'd like to know what's open when(ie. parking lot, security, Ferry boat) for those that drive to the MK.
