As of the March 28, 2009 Western, Topsider's was NOT a buffet at night.

From what I remember, if you go on a night when the restaurants are doing their own menus, the Topsider menu has something from each place.

Disney does do a great job catering to those with special needs. The only thing that you have to consider is that they need advanced warning. We always "pre-ordered" the night before and had no problems...

Just got off the 4/25 cruise & our server told us that they are still in training for the new menus & they won't take place for another couple of weeks FYI: I didn't enjoy the food but that would not stop me from going on another Disney cruise

No, that has been taken off of all three menus for the Wonder, which will be the same on the Magic when they start in June with Lumiere's on the cover of the Triton's menu. The lighter fare is only the fish and chicken now.

I was on the 5/7/09 sailing of the Wonder and was told that the new menus had not been finalized. They are testing them out and may be adjusted within the next month.

(I was told this by someone of authority, but do not feel comfortable identifying him in such a public forum).

Haha, talk about a loaded question. This has been thus far the largest complaint of the new menus, aside from the general decline in the quality of the food.

Plain steak is no longer available under the lighter fare menu. Also, at least on the Wonder, and last we heard, asking for the fancy steak without sauces is also unavailable.

If people like yourself leave negative feedback regarding this specific issue, perhaps we can see a resolution to it.

Well thanks to all of you for your information on the new Menus on the Disney Wonder, I will have to say that one of the menues, not sure which one but the menu seemed to offer more vegetarian type meals, thats fine if your into that type of thing but I am a Steak & Potato girl and I didnt see a steak anywhere on the menu, so my question is will my server be able to get me the mixed grill or rib eye from Parrot Cay?

Thats the menu Animators! there is not a steak on the menu it makes me want to ask WHERE'S THE BEEF!! I guess its the short ribs, well the menu has blackbean cakes and potato and pea samosas along with other nice dishes, but I would like to have a steak, Disney Cruises are high and hey I know everyone is cutting back, I understand that but the prices of these cruises do not warrant such change in the food!If one wants to change to offer variety thats fine but replace it with its equal if you take a Steak off the menu do not replace it with a Blackbean Cake!On my other cruises(RCCL), I have been satisfied with the food, and paid less for the cruise.I am expecting at minimum LeCellia'rs quality food. Or am I asking for to much? I hope that all of you who are cruising with these new menus and are not finding them up to par are letting Disney know, if we do not speak up we will not be heard!I really want to skip this restaurant but, my 3yr old will love to see the transiton, but I am dreading the rotation here!

My cruise is not till Tday - so I hope to see the new menu's when they come out. I can probably live with chicken every night and salads and not eat as much at dinner. The food was not the primary reason for the cruise for me - so I think that is good huh! ehehe

Will hold tight till the new menu's appear and we can look at them to see what options I get.

As for the feedback at the end of the cruise, if I feel that my food intake was not acceptable due to the lack of steak - believe you me - I will be mentioning it.

If the menus are the rotation ones then you can order an entree from one of the other two rotation menus. That is the only saving grace with these changes and I might be doing this for the first time on our next cruise.
