New Menu @ Via Napoli??

I saw on a Disney FB group I'm in that Via Napoli has a new and reduced menu because they're expanding the seating area and while they're doing that they've reduced the menu. I'm wondering if anyone knows how long they'll be offering their reduced menu?

We're supposed to be eating there June 10th and from what I've seen of the new menu, their appetizer list has really shrunk, like removed the calamari and the fried veggies - it now only includes like 4 items..

Interesting. Where are they expanding the seating? I did hear the pizza window was getting a new look. I hope they aren’t taking the arancini away!

Any idea how long they will be using the shortened version of the menu? We go in August and this is making me think about switching to Tutto instead

Here's the menu - posted from the Disney Foodies FB group - it only shows 4 appetizers..

the thread states that the reduced menu will be for a few months.

We cancelled our reservation and booked Biergarten - not the same food, but my son who requested Via Napoli got to pick the replacement!

As long as they still have our beloved pizza - and more specifically the Carciofi - on the menu then we'll be there

Thanks for posting. Happily my favorites remain. Will be interesting to see the added space and well as how/if the menu changes.

Pure speculation and wishful thinking here but *maybe* the refurbed pizza window will serve the same pizza as inside. I’d love that.

My waistline won't miss the calamari and besides there are so many other restaurants at WDW that do calamari well I'll live. Really wish the fritti disappearance is temporary.

now I've REALLY changed it up! We went from Via Napoli to Biergarten to.........

CITRICOS!! a new one for us!!!

My youngest (who picked Via Napoli) really wanted the arancini...and even though they do still have those at Via Napoli, I felt like we wouldn't be using our DxDP to the best of our abilities if we ordered 4 orders of the arancini....

and Citricos HAS ARANCINI!!!

I know it's a Signature dining so that's 2 credits per person, but honestly this trip we were doing a alternative dining experience of us which a sit down breakfast, a lite lunch and then signatures for dinner..which does mean we're paying for 5 meals OOP.

so far we have dinners booked at: California grill (new to us), Citricos (new to us), 'Ohana (not new to us but haven't had dinner there since our first trip in 2009), Flying Fish (haven't been since it was renovated) and Le Cellier (haven't been since 2009).

We have 2 teenage boys who love to try new foods, love seafood and DH and I love a good "beverage" at dinner!!

Citricos has a great arancini and plentiful "beverages". The rest of your lineup sounds terrific as well. I especially love California Grill and Flying Fish. Hope you have a great trip!

I'm totally excited!! and I told the kid that when we go back in 2020 that we'll make sure that Via Napoli is on the dinner agenda!!!
