Just got back from our first cruise on the Magic. And while on board we bought into SSR. Starting out with 200 pts. They are also giving us last years pts. So we are starting out with 400 pts.
We don't really plan on vacationing again till next year! Will we lose last years points?, how many points can you bank total??
I'm new at this can you tell!!

You can bank all of the 05 points that they gave you.

Welcome Home! :welcome:

You probably haven't gotten your guidebook and other materials yet. When you get them, be sure to read up on banking and borrowing. What they are allowing you to do is bank your 2006 points into 2007 (or 2005 points into 2006) depending on your use year. The answer to your question is dependant on that use year. As an example: If your use year is June and you bank those 2005 points (a June use year would mean you are currently on 2005 points), you would have until May 31, 2007 to use those 2005 points. You could also bank the 2006 points into 2007 should you need to. A good rule of thumb to remember is that if you bank points into the next use year, you must be sure you use AT LEAST that many points in that new use year.

All of our paper work was waiting for at home after we got off the boat!!

WELCOME HOME and WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD!!!

Welcome Capt. :thumbsup2 Do you know anything about the program you bought into? How about SSR? You've come to the right place for answers. I'm trying to decide if you bought in after a few too many Margaritas or if you intended on doing it before the cruise. :confused3 Happy sailing. :)

It wasn't really intended that way. A little humor was thrown in but I'm serious with the questions. Captain are you there? Did you research the program and SSR before your cruise or did you find the DVC Spiel do good to resist? It is a serious question on my end. It is just hard it imagine being pitched for DVC while on a relaxing cruise? I'd like to hear a little about how it went and a little more about the OP.

Thanks and welcome home,

DAVE
