New member to DIS and DVC - questions

Just signed contract through TSS! Questions! Going to WDW late Oct on a Non DVC trip. Considering trading in my tickets bought through AAA for Discounted DVC AP's and possibly DDE. Can this be done if my DVC membership card is not received yet?

Thanks to everyone on The DIS and this past July's DIS Meet in Allentown for all of the information to make the decision to buy in!

You do need your DVC membership card to get the discounted AP or PAP.

As soon as you are in the system, call MS and ask if they can send you a temporary membership card - hopefully you will get that before your late October trip. Just tell the CM that you want/need the card to get the discounted AP and other DVC perks.

We were in a similar situation and MS told me that they could have a card made up and available for pickup at the SSR location in the event the "real" card didn't make it to you through the mail.
