New Member Question

Ok - I have read all the previous posts about people signing on the Mickey and dating on the Palms. I thought since we bought through resale we missed this part. Then I happily got our new member handbook in the mail yesterday (you would have thought I won the lottery I was so excited!) and in the packet there is a Product Understanding Checklist for Saratoga Springs (we bought BWV).

On the back there are the mickey's and palms for date and signature. There was no cover letter or anything with it though. Does anyone know if this supposed to be signed and sent back or was this piece more of an FYI?

When we bought our sold out resort directly from Disney we had to sign and date that we had received the member book, etc. Maybe since you bought a resale and didn't receive the book with your other paperwork this is additional info they need for closing.

I got the same SSR checklist when I bought resale in January. No welcome cover letter either. I didn't know what to do with it so I threw it in a drawer.

I was kind of disappointed.

First of all - Congratulations and welcome home!

I don't recall ever seeing this particular question before - COOL! A brand new question!

My advice is to call the number on the checklist (I think there is one listed for Quality Assurance) and ask them. If there isn't a number listed, call the 800 number for MS and listen to all the options - just stay on the line (don't choose an option) and then ask the person who answers your question. He/She will probably transfer you to the QA group.
