I am new to the process so please forgive me for asking what may seem like a simple question to veterans. My family just purchased 350 points at VWL and had a great vacation in February. Our use year begins in September.
I am calling tomorrow to book my week for February of 2002. Since we used the 350 points for our last vacation and new ones are not creditied until September 2001, does this mean I will have to borrow points to book this trip or since it is after the beginning of the September use year, will they just be considered 2001's 350 points and not borrowing? How those points are considered may allow us to either take one or two trips next year.
I have read through the guidebook but can not find a real clear answer. Thanks to anyone who can help.
By the way, my family's trip in February was wonderful . I wish we did this years ago.

Welcome to the boards. You've come to the right place to ask questions and get information.

The points must be available at the time of the trip not at the time the reservation is made. From your description, you won't need to borrow any points for your reservation in Feb 2002 as the points needed for that trip will be available in Sept 2001, well before the trip.
