New member question - Membership cards

We got our New Member booklet in the mail on Friday or Saturday (can't remember which).. We bought via resale, does anyone have an idea of how long it will take to get our membership cards??

We are going in May so if they dont come we will go get temp cards... but DH was wondering!

we bought through disney and they sent us a paper temp card with our packet. They said we should recieve our regular cards in 2-4 weeks.

we were told we won't receive our real card until the deed is filed with the state. anywhere from 4-8 weeks and it should arrive.

I purchased my first contract via resale. Our membership cards arrived just a little over 3 weeks after we made it into DVC's system. You say you just received your membership booklet from DVC, so your membership cards probably won't be far behind. I expect you will get them before the end of this month.

Note things can sometimes not happen correctly. If you do not have your cards within a couple months or so, you may want to start calling to see if they are paying attention. After I bought my first resale, it took me a mere 2 1/2 years to finally get the applicable DVC membership cards. Many of the conversations I had with them over that period went along the lines of: "I would like to have my membership cards sent." "Have you lost yours, you want to replace them?" "No, I just never received them." "Did you move from your address that is on file?" "No, I am still at the same place." "Did you make any requests before?" "Yes, several." "Let me check ... oh, there is a note on your file showing you made a request (fill in last time I called usually about 2 months beforehand), didn't you receive them?" "No, I would think I would remember if I did and I wouldn't be calling if I had." "Are you sure you haven't moved?" "No, my senility has not affected my memory quite that much yet." "I can't understand why they weren't sent before." "Neither can I." "I'll put the order in again." "Thank you."

Does anyone know when you receive your PIN for the website? Is that something you have to request or does it come with the member id cards?

Call the MS number and select the option for website questions. They can give you the info you need to access the members' website. The PIN will come in the mail via postcard but you will not receive the Club ID which is the other info you need to log in for the first time and you will end up calling MS to get it anyway.
