I remember having to wait until way after 3P to check into our room. Fortunately, it didn't affect us as much because my mom had arrived the day before (we had adjoining rooms.) She arrived late at night the previous day, so she didn't have to wait either.
I hope that You and Your Honey Have a Happppppy Trip!
My only advice.. remember You have the pass that lets You go back time and again.. so relax and enjoy Each other.. everything else will be Icing on the cake.

I love cake! Thank goodness I don't have any cake around the house because I would be the size of an airplane hangar. Keeping ice cream in the freezer during these warm summer months is a dangerous risk for me! I can scarf it down!
Definitely sounds like you got a good guy! I hate the guys who scoff at DL and say, "That's for kids!" Or if they agree to go to DL, they will only ride maybe 5 things and refuse to go on anything that may resemble being a 'kids' ride.' I want someone who will not only go to DL with me, but even get on Small Word Holiday in December, or Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin and sit down for breakfast with me at Goofy's Kitchen in DLH, posing in pictures with all the characters that come to the table! If they can't do that, then it's no good! I don't want a complete immature idiot for a boyfriend, but he has to be in touch with his inner child!
Hey everyone! I am now back home from our mini trip to DLR. I have to admit I'm sad to be back home, I almost cried.
PPH was great! The pool was sort of small but it was ok because I don't know how to swim anyway. Omg, I loved the water slide! I went on so many times. We did the early pre-check in, but our room wasn't ready until 3pm. It turned out good though. At first they gave us a room with double beds, we had asked for one king sized bed. So my boyfriend called and luckily they were able to put us in a king sized bedroom. It turns out there are only 10 rooms in the whole hotel with king size beds. The last one happened to be available.
All in all it was great. I felt a little rushed, but then again we were only there one night. I told my boyfriend, next time we do this we should try to stay at least 2 nights.
Sadly, I forgot my camera and was not able to take many pictures. Except for the one I bought from DCA.
We've had premium passes for 9 years now and love it. You will go so often that you won't feel like you have to do everything in every trip.. You can just relax and hang out. Your photo is fabulous!
You can even do things like go hang out and watch the runners come in from the half marathon on Sunday. It's way fun and there are a whole bunch of runners from the DIS Boards going. Come on down and join us for cheering!
Glad you & your boyfriend had such a nice time. I keep telling myself that I'll treat myself to two nights at one of the hotels, but then I only live 25 miles away, & it's hard to justify the cost (darn it!).
We'll be in DTD somewhere near Libby Lu during the final DTD leg. We'll be at least a party of 5 - maybe 8 - cheering. 3 adults - short loud blond woman, long brunette woman and handsome guy, at least 2 little blond girls on shoulders - one dressed as the consumate Tinkerbell, and maybe another dad with 3 boys ranging from 11 to 4.
We'll have a lime green Quinny stroller and our LGMHs!
