For the last five years I have spent 2 weeks in Sept at WDW. I bought into DVC last year (use year began Oct 1st--200 points) :cheer2: and will be going for 2 weeks again in September this year. :goodvibes

I would like to spend 7 days at two different resorts. Any suggestions? I was thinking of SSR and BCV, which would be 199 points for a studio. Eventually, I would like to stay at all of the resorts.

How helpful are the DVC reservationists??

Thanks for any assistance, Cindy

Since you are planning on a studio I would do just as you have suggested. Try for SSR first part of stay and BCV second. The room layouts are about the same. The big difference is the pools and where you can walk to and from. They are both great. If you were going to do a few days in a 1 BR I would do BCV in a studio and OKW in the 1BR to get the feel for two totally different resorts. I love OKW but prefer the studio layouts at the other resorts. Anything larger than that it is OKW every time. The people at member services can be very helpful and I have never had a bad experience with them. Have all your information available as well as a pen and paper when you call. If you have specific questions write them down or if you are like me you will forget to ask and have to call back. Hope you enjoy many years of planning and enjoying great trips.

Well, your within the 7 month window, so your points are good anywhere. September is probably the easiest month for reservations. You'll certainly have no problem getting SSR.
Member Services are usually very helpful. I would just call and try to get the BCV week first. See what's available. If either of your weeks is available, book it, then book the SSR for the other week. If BCV is not available, BWV preferred and VWL would be the same point schedule. OKW would be fewer points.
Just a few points to consider:
BCV, SSR, BWV, and VWL have the 1 bed and 1 sofa bed set-up for a studio. OKW has 2 beds. Depending on your needs, one set-up may be preferable over the other.
With an October use year, your points have to be used by Sept 30, or else banked. The only problem for you with an Oct use year and Sept ressies, is that if you have to cancel for some reason fairly late, you may be past your banking windows, and not have an opportunity to bank or use the points at all. Just be careful making ressies for just before your UY. If you're sure you won't have to cancel, then no problem.
Also, Monday is the busiest day for member services. If you don't have to call on Monday for any particular reason, wait until Tuesday or later. As I said, MS is usually very helpful, but would probably be moreso if you call on a less busy day.
