New March 2017 Check In thread

Booked AO MSEP lunch for the 23rd also, because I'm indecisive and since I'll be gong solo I don't have anyone else influencing my opinions lol Once it gets closer to my trip I'll decide which one I want to do.

Yay! 5 sleeps till we leave

We are staying at the DLH for 12 nights. Have booked;
Goofy's Kitchen for dinner
Ariel's Grotto for breakfast
Minnie's for breakfast
Aladdin's Oasis for MSEP
Napa Rose Vhef's Counter (kids going to Pinocchio's Workshop)
WOC dessert party
and a 2 hour professional Photoshoot (an hour in each park). Can't wait for this one. We had originally booked the Carsland night photoshoot, but cancelled as we decided we wanted photos all over both parks, not just Carsland.

Now if only we could skip the 24 hours plus worth of travel to get there

Travel safe to all that are heading there soon, have fun!

Wow! Sounds fabulous. Good luck traveling!

I hear you. If only we had transporters. It sounds like a fun trip - have fun!

It would be amazing wouldn't it :worship:
The thought of spending so long in a plane is giving me sleepless nights already. Big fear of flying :(
Good thing Disney is so worth it:earboy2:

I am a FL resident and go to WDW a few time a year. This 'old school' Fast Pass system is weird to me. I have my dining reservations, but I would have already book my FPs and known where and when I was going somewhere. lol I have the park hours in my phone and am working on a plan of attack.
on a side note, I will be at WDW this same week. M-W at DL and F-Sun at WDW! All rides for WDW are booked.

disphoto, I like the "old school" Fastpass because it allows us more flexibility. You can read up on it on this site, Touring Plans or DLRprepschool. What week are you going to DLR.

I watched Dumbo with DD tonight (we got the last copy at Best Buy). Now I'm trying to think of other movies we really should try to watch before our trip. :)

We will be at DL on 3/13 & 14, and CA on 3/15. It is a short trip, but I only have a few MUSTS. I have seen the electrolite parade, so I can hit rides during that. lol

My husband is going to think I'm an even bigger dork when I start looking for other "disboarders" at the dessert part! LOL!
LOL. My husband thinks the exact same thing. Our DS will be 17 years and 364 days at the dessert party. I was thrilled he wasn't too old to hang out with his Mom and Dad. It might have something to do with that I am paying the bill.

We just bought our annual passes! I cannot believe I am going to be in Disneyland on my 30th birthday and be able to say that for one year of my life I was a Disneyland annual pass holder
How fun! I went for my 30th last year. It was a great way to ring in the milestone birthday! I hope you have a great time.

That will be so much fun to be there on your birthday. We are just going to miss my Dad's 60th birthday. It's too close to Easter and DD is in school. Otherwise, we might have tried to hit both their birthdays. I'm still going to see if we can celebrate that milestone birthday even if it is 2 weeks early.

Does anyone know where I could purchase a Disneyland character autograph book. I was going to buy from the Disney Store online so we could have it before our trip but the shipping to Canada would have cost $25 dollars for an $8 item. Urgg!

We're going to be there between DSs bday & mine. I will definitely get him a birthday pin.

As for the autograph book, wait for a free ship code. A couple weeks ago, I ordered one because they had free ship for the entire order if there was even one Disney Parks item (autograph book is Parks). I also ordered 4 stuffies to bring & surprise DS with. If I see a code, I'll post here.
ETA if I see free US ship, I'd be happy to send it to you

Cancelled my AO MSEP lunch, and will probably cancel the one for BB too. The more I think about it, the more I want the flexibility to do what I want, when I want. Even if that means I have to stake out a parade spot earlier than I would have otherwise.

On the brighter side of things: I leave for California one month from today!

Disney Store had a Free Ship code last night and the shipping was still $25. You think I'd get used to the horribly inflated shipping prices, but I can't. My dad and daughter's birthday's are two days apart. Since we are going on this trip together, this will be the first year they aren't coming to DD's birthday party. That's why it would be fun to do something.

I went back on forth on this and decided it would be better to stake out a spot where we can watch the parade and the fireworks on the same night.

Unfortunately, there are no fireworks the night I was doing it. I'll be doing the fireworks the next night unless I can somehow talk mom and sister into the parade too.
