NEW MAGICBAND+ DVC DISCOUNTS?

Hi. Just wondering if there's a DVC discount on the purchase of Magicband+'s?
Also, if we're not doing parks with our upcoming trip, is it even worth it to purchase a Magicband +?

I honestly don't know whether you can apply a DVC discount to any MBs on ShopDisney. However, if you're not going into any parks, I don't see any reason to buy a MB+. AFAIK, their special effects (making 50th statues do something, lighting up with fireworks, playing game in Galaxy's Edge) are limited to the parks. The regular MB2s do all the same things as MB+s do outside the parks, which would be opening Disney resort room doors and swimming pool gates and charging food and purchases to Disney resort room accounts.

Do you have a trip booked? If so, the "pre arrival" price through MDE I think is cheaper than shop Disney (although I don't know how it compares to park/Disney springs prices).

That said, I agree w. Previous post unless you want the keepsake (I know there are 50th designs) it seems like a waste for resort only especially now that phones do everything.

AP & DVC discounts do apply to MagicBands purchased at WDW.
