New Magic Bands for 2nd trip?

Hi everyone! After having a wonderful time at AoA Little Mermaid this May, I've already booked us another stay for 2 weeks in May 2015. I was able to add our resort reservation to My Disney Experience, however I still see our old Magic Bands from this May there. Do you know when we will see the options to customize new bands, or will I have to call and request new bands? Thanks!

Once it gets closer you'll have the option to customize.

FYI you can use the old ones.

Thanks for the quick response! My mom doesn't mind using her old band, but my old one was pink and I got these really cool Loki decal stickers for the magic band, so I need a green or yellow one this time

So far they are issuing new bands for each trip. As was mentioned, you should be able to see the order and customize them soon. The deadline is 30 days as that is when they "print" them and you can change the customization until then.

Yep new ones for each trip. We have 8 each already and 2 more on the way for the next trip. I'm getting ready to fashion a magic band belt,

If you order a second set for the next trip can you use both the new and old bands? Or are the old bands deactivated?

you can use all the bands interchangeably.

I just turned in my old ones at the front desk when I left. I was told they basically give you new ones Every time you go so I just left them. They still show up in MDE but so do my new ones for our next trip.

You can deactivate them manually if you want to in MDX but they will stay active unless you do.

Please go into MDE and deactivate those bands that you gave to the person at the front desk.

i am up to 7 bands between split stays and upgrading annual passes. Going for all the colors.

Then I will start the decorating with nail polish and duct tape I have seen on here. LOL
