New Little Disney Fan Coming

This is a little off topic but I post here often and had to share the news.

My son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first child together. I'm already starting to plan a trip with the big sister (she'll be eight) next summer after the baby is born. And then another one with the little one as soon as we feel comfortable with having a baby at Disney World. I am so excited as this is my first biological grandchild.

I couldn't talk them into any Disney names, though. I guess we'll save those for pets.

Congratulations to you!!! You must be so excited! I know that my husband and I have 2 children and they are the ONLY grandchildren on both sides so their grandparents love to spoil them! (And then send them home to us when they get cranky!!! LOL)

Congrats! That's so exciting!

I think it's a great idea to take the bigger sibling to Disney...My dd had some trouble with the "not the only one anymore" issue and she was much younger than your granddaughter. Having special time is great.

In terms of names...there are some great Disney names that aren't Minnie or Daisy...are you sure they realize the great variety out there? Anastasia, Aurora, Nala...
