Oh no! I'm allergic to Mushrooms and was really hoping I'd get to try the Filet Mignon with the Cream Cheese Potatoes. Does anyone know if you can order the Mushroom Filet without the Mushroom sauce and substitute the Risotto for the Potatoes? If not, I don't know what I'll order and I was really excited about this place.

I hope so..I'm going to ask them if they can,if not I will just get the chicken.

Relax All !!!

I was there on the 29th of March for Lunch. I ordered the Filet Mignon and requested the mushrooms on the side. I also asked to substitute the Cream Cheese Potatoes for the Risotto. Once again, no problem!! So, yes we can get our steaks the way we want. Hope this helps !!!!

Bobump is right - everybody needs to calm DOWN!

The filet is not prepared with mushrooms imbedded in it, therefore CAN be ordered and cooked "plain".

It has never, in my experience, NOT been possible to substitute one accompaniment for another (e.g potatoes for risotto, although the latter is not 'fancy', it's creamy).

Canada is a larger country with a much more diverse population than many people realize - Chili Pork Chop with Udon noodles and peanut sauce could very well be very Canadian.

The children's menu, which includes the Chocolate Moose, is not posted because that menu is not available outside where the OP took pictures of the regular menu. This does NOT mean that any given item normally on that menu no longer exists; very likely it does.

We were still able to get the smore dessert and the mousse when we just went. And if anyone is worried about having to get the chicken to get the mashed potatoes, don't be. The chicken dish is pretty good. Better than the steaks that me and DH had. And they also subsituted the mashed potatoes with the rissoto too if you wanted.

Is the Maple Glazed Filet Mignon really gone??? That was by far our most favorite dish in all of WDW.

Has anyone tried to order it this month? We are headed to WDW on May 8th and this is our first dinner. If it is actually gone, we may end up cancelling...

You know, I realize it's disappointing if you look forward to a meal and then they change it (they changed the menu of my favourite restaurant at DLP too )

But I must admit I'm about the panic/ drama/ whatever you call it because of a steak and potatoes.

For me it is frustrating. I am a very picky eater and my 5 yr old has eating ussues.(wonder where he gets it from ) It takes a lot of planning to get a place where we can all eat. You make your reservations 180 days in advance and WHAM they change the menu....now all the good times are taken at any other acceptable place . (we are going in July)We have 2 little ones so timing is everything so we do not bother the other guests. I kept this one for my family and I will just eat a bowl of soup. But I had to change Rose and crown. I did get Chefs at an OK time to replace it.

has no one noticed that both the maple bbq filet with the cream cheese mashed potatoes, and the caesar salad are gone from the menu?!?! How can they claim to be a steak house without a salad on the menu as an appetizer....thats just a basic staple!!! I tried calling the podium the other day when i noticed this change, but they wouldnt patch me through to see if they could make us the filet the old way, because if not we are considering giving up our reservation for next week.
