New Lays Potato Chips

I have no business eating potato chips, but these flavors intrigue me. Surely I could just eat or two of each kind for my own edification.

I did not like the taco ones. I love taco Doritos, and I think I was expecting something more like that. These had a weird aftertaste.

I loved the Fried Green Tomatoes, but I don't think they taste like a FGT at all. I like that these were a teeny bit spicy.

I haven't tried the Everything Bagel one, I don't know if I will. It doesn't sound good to me.

I'm dying to try the Fried Green Tomato ones! FGT's are my favorite food on Earth! Glad to hear they are good but I haven't run across them yet.

Has anyone tried the 3 new flavors of Lays Potato Chips? They are Fried Green Tomato, Crispy Taco, and Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese. Here is my take on them.

Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese: To me it doesn't taste like an Everything Bagel at all so I was disappointed with this chip.

Crispy Taco: This one tasted the most like what it was suppose to in my opinion and wasn't bad at all.

Fried Green Tomato: I haven't ate Fried Green Tomatoes but once so I don't really remember the taste that well, but this was my favorite of the chip. It kind of tasted like a Sour Cream and Onion chip but a little different...

I tried the Everything Bagel and well just NO! I passed them along to my "garbage disposal" of a friend. Anytime I have food I don't like or can't finish I give it to him.

I would love to try the Taco one but haven't seem them

I wish they would have these available in small bags so you can try them without committing to them.

Now that you mention this I did see a sign in their window. I don't go to subway because I am not a fan of their sandwiches. Can you just buy the chips? and if so how much do they charge?

I hope you can just buy the chips because I don't want a sandwich! I just checked on line and they are $1.19 at our local Subway.

You absolutely can just buy chips. Or soda. Or a cookie. They're not going to say no to money for something they sell anyway.

Walmart had all the new flavors here.....plus their exclusive one, the bacon wrapped jalapeno popper

the bacon tastes too fake for me......the taco meat is too fake too.

Tried all three. Don't like the taco or bagel. Fried Green Tomato is surprisingly good.

I miss the New York Style Reuben. Nothing else will ever compare.

Okay so based on this here thread, I went out and found the All Dressed chips along with the Fried Green Tomato. Here's my thoughts. The All Dressed were the bomb! Very flavorful with a vinegar bbq twang. The FGT on the other hand were sooo disappointing to me. They LOOKED like they had seasoning on them but I only tasted plain potato chips. It was kind of strange. They needed dip! lol

We tried all 3 of the new ones. DH really liked the Fried Green Tomatoes but didn't care for the other two. DD and I both LOVE the taco ones, but didn't like the other two! We all agree the bagel ones were gross.

We tried all three flavors between five of us at Subway the other weekend. We had varying opinions on the Taco and Fried Green Tomato flavor, but we all liked the Everything Bagel chips. I actually looked for a big bag at the grocery store yesterday, but could not find one.

Funny how there doesn't seem to be a consensus on the flavors. Some love what others really don't.
