New Lays Potato Chips

Has anyone tried the 3 new flavors of Lays Potato Chips? They are Fried Green Tomato, Crispy Taco, and Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese. Here is my take on them.

Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese: To me it doesn't taste like an Everything Bagel at all so I was disappointed with this chip.

Crispy Taco: This one tasted the most like what it was suppose to in my opinion and wasn't bad at all.

Fried Green Tomato: I haven't ate Fried Green Tomatoes but once so I don't really remember the taste that well, but this was my favorite of the chip. It kind of tasted like a Sour Cream and Onion chip but a little different.

Just wanted to know what others thought who may have tasted them.

Haven't had them yet, but I always look forward to trying the annual flavors. My current favorite Lays chip is "All Dressed" which I think is a contest winner from last year. Man, are those good!

Yep, That flavor was great.

Bought the taco one, haven't tried it yet.....burgers tomorrow we will break it out then.
Also got bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. Is that a new one too............it was on the rack with the other 3 and I haven't seen it before

It could be a new one or one from last year. These are the 3 up for vote this year I believe that Mom got me.

I rarely ever see them. Once in awhile, I'll see an old year's winner. But they never stick. I don't think A single one of them was so much better than what we already had that it will push them out.

Just found that one is a Walmart exclusive

All Dressed is actually a popular Canadian flavor.

Late to taste the new flavors but just tried the Fried Green Tomato. I loved this one. Kind of like a richer and spicier version of a sour cream chip. Yum!!!

This is an oddity. Lays is the dominant name for these snacks, whereas in Britain - possibly alone - they are marketed as Walkers. But why?

Are they owned by the same company? If so they probably stuck with the Walkers name for familiarity in the British markets.

I tried the bagel ones and while they don't taste like Everything Bagels, they are SO good. I think my husband and I ate a whole bag in one sitting! They tasted kind of like sour cream and chive...

We didn't try the Everything Bagel ones, but did try the Fried Green Tomatoes, Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers and the Taco ones.
The tomato ones were okay.....everyone tasted the others and then they went in the garbage. Horrible!!

I liked the taco ones. I haven't tried the other two.

We tried the Fried Green Tomato chips and they were pretty darn good. Haven't tried the others yet. My ALL TIME FAVORITE Lays chips are the Dill pickle chips, but they make them almost impossible to find around here! That may actually be a good thing though

I have now had the Taco ones. They are okay, but I think they had too much flavor on them. If they toned it down a notch I think I would like them more. Not a bad taste though.
