Ugh! My stomach has been in a knot for four days now. My husband called me on Wed. to tell me he has been offered a position with a different company. He doesn't have a lot of info yet, and I haven't been able to sit with him to discuss it due to the fact he's been out of the country. It's a great opportunity, so why am I so nervous about it?

Well my husband now has three new job offers and he wasn't even looking! We should all be so lucky :teeth: .

Change is scary! My DH has been with the same company for 20 years now and has had several different positions. Just recently they did a big reorganization and parts of his job changed. Not the same thing as a complete job change, but we were still on edge until some of the changes were implimented. So far so good.

I hope that it all works out for you and your DH!!!

Jill

Has he changed jobs much or been through enough evil, back-stabbing mergers to turn his hair grey? I used to freak out and now I just am happy that he has a job. (IT-Sales):lmao:

Seriously good luck to your family!!!!!:thumbsup2

Good luck! Change is usually scary because it deals with the unknown. You'll be fine I'm sure. :goodvibes

LOL! Not much grey yet but when he had his beard that was the first to go grey! He is a pretty loyal dog, this will be his third change in about 30 years. He's flying home today, but from what he said when he called before the rumor buzz about it has already been flying. The good thing about it though is that his boss is going too and will remain his boss. They make a great team.

Hope everything works out. Change can sometimes be exciting! Good luck.

Thanks for all your good wishes! I know it is pretty much a done deal, but it's the unknown that's stressing me out, things like benefits etc... One real bonus is that my kids will get to go see him at work, something that they haven't been able to do much in the last 13 years.

So it doesn't sound like you'd have to relocate. That's always a good thing! We've always had to move for every new job, and although it does keep the accumulation of household clutter to a minimum, it can get expensive as you have to acquire things in the new location, (i.e., snowblower, etc.) :goodvibes Hope everything goes smoothly for you!
