New Jersey Week and timing...

Is "Jersey Week" the week of Nov 3rd or Nov 10th? Just curious...

We are currently booked for 5 nights in August (17-22) but are a little leary about the crowds and heat at that time of the year. We usually travel to Florida in late Sept through early Nov. We just bought into DVC last fall so this is our first trip with our points

We are considering switching to the week of Nov. 10th. The weekend of Veteran's Day is the Soap Opera weekend, right? At least at that time of year, waits are a 1/2 hr or shorter it seems. I'm assuming that won't be the case in August??

As the kids get older, it's more difficult to plan without them missing a lot of school. Sigh...

NJ week is the week of November 3rd and Super Soap Weekend is Nov 8 - 9.

I think the Nj week will be the week of Nov. 6 7 and 8.

I am going during aug. due to kids being off school.

Hope this info helps. If you do cancel for that week in Aug. would you be cancelling a studio by any chance,we are waitlisted for the 16-21st for BWV studio. BCV would be just as well.

If you lose that link & want to know when the NJ schools are closed, just check when election day is. For the next 3 years (at least) the teacher's convention (thursday & friday) is the same week.

I've heard crowds aren't bad at that time of year.
