Then again, the pattern looks like it could be:

W S J G = world of sports jacket green
W S J W = world of sports jacket white?

or maybe instead of blue and green it could be boy and girl? But in either case I can't really figure out what the w would be. White just doesn't seem right.

As for the items added to the database: they fooled me! Since early April there have been items with strange names like "B C B" or "D M's C" appearing in the database. I assumed that these were simply internal things that weren't meant to be used by players. Turns out I was wrong: these are placeholders for new items that players aren't supposed to know about yet. The VMK coders are hiding the names from us by using abbreviations; as soon as they decide to make an item available to players, they put its full correct name into the database. This way, us database diggers can't get advance warning of cool things coming in the future!

So far, the only ones which have started out as abbreviations then have gotten full names are:

I-S C P -> Inner-Space Crystal Pin
I-S S P -> Inner-Space Snowflakes Pin
I-S M P -> Inner-Space Molecules Pin
I-S R P -> Inner-Space Ride Pin
B Q A -> Best Quest Award

Anyways, with myself looking at the database in the past, I've noticed a few patterns. Any item # with 4 numbers starting with 2 is a pin. Any item # with 4 numbers starting with 3 is a poster. Guestrooms also have 4 numbers starting with 5.
Clothing items have 5 numbers. Boys generally start with 2, girls with 3 and unisex start with 4.
Anything else (generally 3 numbers or less) is furniture or in game items.
So, depending on what the item # is for each of those items will determine what they might be.

Actually, I saw both posters in staff rooms during the vote for best staff room ride. Several of the rooms had both the one with snow and the one without.

This is out. I have heard that 5 people in VMK have them. They came from the room makeover. I didn't know they were still doing that.

I never understood it, VMK never said a lot about it so I kind of forgot about it.

Just about any word can be used improperly -- that doesn't mean all words need to be removed. Following your logic to its extreme, the word "new" should be removed (too many states with that), "main" and "street" should be removed, etc.

Also, I've never thought it part of my personal CL_ role to act as "police" -- announcements on the official VMK site tend to back that up.

I think a CL's role in this instance is to just to point out that what they did was not safe and against VMK values, and that they could get in trouble for it. Beyond that, it's up to them to stop the behavior, and up to official VMK staff to police it.
