At least call a guide and get pricing that is locked in for 7 days even if you aren't ready to put a down payment down today. At least you'll have a week to get things figured out.
They aren’t going to give massive discounts while increasing the price because they are trying to set the new higher value in the minds of guests. They might give a one season discount that is close to today’s price, but not as good. And then it will go up further in the next season likely.
My guess is incentives get slightly worse across the board, due to the price increase. I think hoping for the rare exception at the same time as a price increase, would boarder line impossible. Sorry for the doom and gloom.
The only resort that may be the exception is that cabins at fort wilderness.
I'll be curious to see if the per point discount is a bit better so offset the price increase. I still don't think the actual cost will be better than current incentives though.
