Why is that? Their promo is getting alot of attention and bringing in thousands of new potential customers. Great marketing ploy on their part.

I prefer the randomness of the contest. If we knew exactly when it would go off then virtually none of your average consumers would even have a chance at getting it! There are hundreds (if not thousands) of computer whiz kids/adults who sit at home and use their know-how to beat out your average person. At least when it is random, everyone has a chance.

It is just like buying a product for the potential to win a prize. If the contest sponsors gave out more info, then it would just cause things to become unfair.

BTW, I'm not doing that chat thing and I haven't heard any of these pops that seems to be driving everyone crazy!

I agree. Anyone who thinks the compnahy is doing something wrong or unfair doesn't understand that it is a contest. You are not entitled to get the deal just because you chose to sit on the computer all day waiting for it like goofy me!!!:lmao:

Hey! How you doing? I am trying too for a quick escape down South away from snow and ice hell. Can you explain where to find the numbers on the site? I keep looking and I can't find anything.

Thanks :)

I don't think it ever will happen. I think it is some crazy social experiment to see how many people they can get to do this ridiculous refreshing and for how long. The laugh is on us!

I can see Janice with that smug look on her face.... thinking .....Look at all these fools! :sad2: :rotfl:

I disagree. People are getting upset. Why would anyone give them money in the future? I won't.

The problem is, LMT claims they aren't being random, that there are clues to let people know exactly what times to be on their website. I have yet to find one person who figured out today's clues with certainty. They are causing frustration. They should just admit it's random and call it a day. Also, they appeared to have changed their TOS over the weekend.

I'm not doing the chat because I can hit refresh as well as the next person. In fact, I've learned how to work while simultaneously hitting F5!

OooooooH! what is that all about? What am I missing?! Why am I so desperate??!!!!:rotfl2:

OK- I know in the hundreds of pages it probably say that answer to this question. But what can I expect when the promotion actually starts.

What page do I go to, the home page or the hotel page.

Will there be a box that says something like book a $1 hotel or something??

What can I expect?
I got a room the other night at the 1:27am slot. I had LMT open in 2 different windows, one with results and one where I was continually signing in. When I heard it was time I signed in and nothing was noted. I maximized my other page and hit refresh and a lot of the rooms were gone but the remaining rooms all said $1 for the price. Plus the descriptions were not there to the best of my recollection. You also hear the clock ticking loudly. It's nerve racking but I had enough time to get my credit card and hit my husband to wake him up.

didn't see that as it's up on anothre computer- what did it say?

OK, here is how fried my brain is...I forget! But it did have the "F" word in it, and it was addressed to Amberlite, it mentioned something about the 1400 people on the chat..I'm sorry...:guilty: Did anyone else catch it? Figures the only thing I will be in on today is a dirty message to a mod that I forgot...

could that clue on the tshirt mean 2:01 gmt???????????
I looked it up too. GMT is 5 hours ahead of EST I believe according to what I found. So 2:01 GMT, well is it PM or AM? 2:01pm GMT would be 9:01am EST and 2:01am GMT would be 9:01pm EST?

Way too many numbers and letters for me at this point.

Watch - after being on the site all day, the time will start as soon as I get into my car to drive home.

Sigh.

Does anyone have any idea of the clues for tomorrow? So far, I've gotten no emails (although I signed up) and nothing on Facebook (even though I've 'friended' both Janice AND the site itself). Sheesh!

OMG, the kids are home and they want the computer, wouldn't be so bad but there are two others in the house but they cannot connect - something is up with the router I imagine, I have to give the computer up after nearly 11 hours... unbelievable....

When you look at the hotels, you hoover your cursor over the More Info link. At the bottom of your screen there is a sting of number and letters (I assume the address) and the resort number is in it.
