So are we assuming that you still have to pay the resort tax on the room (13%) i believe, or are they picking that up????

also i read in the terms that you can't get your money back if you cancel, it doesnt say anything about paying a penalty if you cancel, hopefully that wont be the case, any thoughts on this????

refresh, refresh, refresh......

From what we're hearing... this is more like a contest than a sale. I believe all you're responsible for are resort taxes, parking fees, etc. (I.e. Swan/Dolphin have a per day charge for the workout room, etc).

But, you may have to claim it as additional income on your 2009 taxes.

Whaaaaattttttt??????
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Exactly what I was thinking.

Do you people on here still think this is 100% legit. Why is their bank in Israel if they have an office in Florida? I understand they do business around the world but why don't they have a couple of banks in this case.

I say we all pick to go to Disney at the same time, meet up and drink our way around the counties in Epcot.....we all need a good drink after this

I've been shiftin from one side of my butt to the other to try to be more comfortable.
I can't now, because my whole butt hurts! :sad1:

Perhaps I missed this several hundred posts ago..............but what are the hotel codes used for?

I think I missed it as well and was wondering the exact same thing. Can anyone explain the codes, please?

DEBIT/CREDIT CARD PROBLEMS

I spoke to someone else at LMT this time asking why some peoples debit cards are getting 'kicked out' of the system. He told me that their bank is located in Isreal and if your debit/credit card has a block on International charges that their system would block it. Others have posted that they have had trouble disputing international charges. If you want your debit/credit card to go through you need to call your bank and see if their is an international block on your card.

WHAT?!?!?! :scared1:

Ok, I have to chime in on this one. The 13% resort tax is already rolled into the nightly room rate. Because these travel companies "buy" lots of rooms, they pay the tax upfront. Most companies roll it into the nightly lumpsum rate.

This is the way it worked when I travelled to WDW on a package in January.

My grandparents are in Florida and have a bank in Israel & so do many of their friends, and they are legit (kind of).

Seriously, the Israeli bank is a little concerning. Adds to the intreague.

The codes tell you which exact hotel it is. If you put your cursor over the "more info" (don't need to click on it) the bar at the bottom of the page will have a four-digit code, telling you which "undercover" hotel it actually is!

dont cry kaysmommie...here is a squeezeeeeeeee:grouphug: this is a game, treat it as such, ya win some ya lose some, life is one big game, its fun,,,,,,, jump in and play!! Think positive!!:flower3:

Thanks. We are going to Disney regardless, but a free room would be nice wouldn't it? My eyes are burning from staring at the screen all day.

Alright, time for another theory based on the video's. 11:52 GMT is 5:52 CST so I believe in 10 minutes the sale will begin. I think it's GMT time because they were planning a trip to Paris in the video...what do you think?

OK, I just about jumped out of my chair when that pop came up....time to turn down the volume...

Poppies, poppies, poppies

:dancer: My 6 year old thought we needed to dance!:cool1:

I'm all for it.
