New Hotel Thread Here The First One Reached Its Limit-READ 1ST POST IMPORTANT INFO

I'm trying to book a nice hotel in Nashville so we can stop half way for a day before going home from Disney.

Try and get the Grand Ole Opry hotel... (if its available) we stayed there once on the way home from WDW when I was like 10 and I still remember it. The hotel and surronding area is beautiful!

LOL- me too. I was normal, had only been to WDW once as an adult. Now, we own DVC, try to go yearly- and now this!!! What's next?

Mookie - Great points and I agree with you! So much publicity that they would have to be stupid to be pulling a scam! The part that scared me was the guy posting about the site not being secure and that your credit card info could be hacked into. I may go back and search for that. Maybe he's not legit? Don't know what to think. Would love to get a free room just not sure what to do!!

so, when and where are you all hoping to go?

for me, we weren't going this year, so I just am trying for spring break- crowded, but we could just do resort and water park and maybe seaworld.

I'm trying for Disney first week in May. Actually it's for my sister and her 2 DS's, I already have our room through a DVC rental. My sister is a teacher, she got divorced last year and can't afford to go otherwise.

I have seen universal resorts

select the two catagories

Orlando - International Drive/Universal Resort Area
and
Orlando - Intl. Drive/Universal Orlando Resort

and select 4 star and 5 star

all three of them come up for me, you can tell when you read the details
Like one of them offers 'Royal Club' and one of them offers Rock club, and one of them offers a 'bay view'. The bay view is the most expensive, and I am going to guess that one is Portofino

they all say close to IOA in the general description as well

I am actually so glad to have this to occupy my mind.

I have been debating about going back to work and saw a job ad this weekend that would be a good match - but the timing is a bit off (I was looking to start something AFTER my Disney trip in June). I couldn't sleep last night thinking about the job.
