I think the contest is still going on. I think the site got hacked last night (probably someone who was ticked off) and someone put that link up on the website.

So, I think the contest is running, but it is now different and there's no way we can notify each other that it is happening. It is all random. SUBJECT TO CHANGE, most likely.

I wonder if this mean there are more than 3 - 5 min sessions a day (or 7.5 min sessions)??? If they choose say50 IP addresses to enter at each session....and just do random sessions throughout the day......

I made it until 2 am CST (I took a Tylenol PM because I had a horrible headache and I wanted to make myself go to sleep around 1:00 am ). The baby started crying at 3:07 and dork that I am I checked the site before the baby. He was fine - just lost his pacifier. I was up again for about 1/2 an hour when people were reporting that they were getting the clock but timming out before finishing. I never got anything - no timer, no video, no pop up saying it was over. I think around 3:30 or 4:00 I fell back to sleep hitting the refresh button. The alarm went off at 5:00 am so I started again but I think I was dozing off and on until the second alarm clock went off at 6:00 so I had to get up to get ready for work. At that time I turned the computer off to keep me from checking it.

I just called DVC and booked my July Birthday Trip with my points instead!

My biggest complaint at this point is that I have NO idea what time it is. I mean, I know what time it is here in Central Ohio. But the DisBoard time is wacky, the time on their blog is all off - I mean, seriously, what the heck time is it???

Right now, this very minute, my computer and my cell phone say 11:06, EST. Take a look at my posting time (10:52am). Wacky!

For the people that got the clock/video today, did you see them after refreshing or after you initially click on their site. Maybe refreshing is no longer the way to do this?

I wonder what's up with the DIS Board time? I show you posted this "Today, 09:25 AM". BTW, I'm on Central time and it's 10:11 a.m. now.

I know! I'm so confused about time because of the DIS!! It is 11:09 exactly and the says its like 11:26? that is really messing me up...so what time did people just get it? In true form, I signed on just in time to see the posts that said "OMG I just got it!"

For anyone who is interested, here is how it happened for me:

Just for fun I was reading the DIS thread to see what was up. I saw someone had posted that people on SD reported getting a video about 3 minutes before hand. So I thought, what the hell, let me go try it. My dates were still plugged in from the last time I had signed in which I actually think was this morning. All of a sudden, the video started. My heart stopped. I ran to my purse to get my credit card because I had put it away yesterday after I gave up. I was shaking so hard. I have a friend who also won last night and gave a detailed description of how it went for her, and I credit that for greatly helping me know what to expect! After the first video, I entered my info and clicked submit, the 2nd video started. I was shaking harder. I heard the clock ticking but you can't see it because the video was playing, so I had no idea how much time I had left. The video ended and I saw I had 3 minutes 15 seconds. I don't recall whether I made the hotel choice before this, but when the choices came up, I hit 4 star hotels or better, then clicked Disney World hotels, then available hotels only. The list came up and I scrolled through looking for anything that said club level or lagoon - none. ( on the DIS thread people warned that if you get through a lot of the deluxes disappear so I was nervous) I scrolled the list quickly again and saw Savannah view bunk beds - AVAILABLE - so I clicked book now and was taken to the page where you enter your CC info and address. Clicked submit and truly felt lightheaded. Within seconds I had a confirmation number. I still am in total shock and disbelief. I was screaming and jumping up and down and called my husband and he yelled at me because he got scared something was wrong! Is it bad that I wish I'd put 7 nights now? LOL!!! Really, I am thrilled. I can't believe it.


Also, I don't know if it matters at all, but I added Janice as a friend on Facebook yesterday. I am sure that did not play into it at all but just wanted to mention it.

Okay, just to be perfectly clear... Today's booking window has DEFINITELY come and gone folks???

I was on at the same time as everyone else early this morning. I didn't go into bed til 4 am, doing taxes and spent yesterday sitting here all day too, so I saw the message and changes in the wee hrs of the morning that the video was playing but, like others, nothing showed up on my screen - either then or just now.

Today's my birthday and maybe it's the wisdom of waking up after 3 hrs sleep (not all that unusual for me but still) that makes me want to move on with my life.
But wait a minute, then again....

I can't help but feel sad/disappointed over this whole thing. I know I got my hopes up but reading everyone elses stories made me really excited. I don't mind spending 15+ hours glued to my computer waiting for it to happen, but it seemed very unfair last night. If they are say its going to be within a 24 hour time window, then do that even if you do the timer short enough that no one can get it. And the fact that a couple people said they got the video, and the majority of us didn't.. what was going on?? I don't know, I know I got my hopes up but this was the only chance I had at Disney for at least the next year. I'm just bummed out today

I clicked on hotels & then the Cancun banner showed $1. My time only had 1:47 left though, clearly not enough time except to get my heart pumping.

I am so through with LMT now, but I got my hopes up to go to DL for my birthday now. Anyone know any good hotel deals for 2/15-1/18? I'll get the room through anyone but LMT!
