New Hotel Ideas for WDW

The other hotel didn’t fail because it was Star Wars. It failed because it was $4,000 per night. Just get rid of the nerdy role playing crap. Make it a normal hotel with some Star Wars theming and they’ll be raking it in.

Yup, pretty much. They severely underestimated the overlap between those who would enjoy a roleplay type experience and those who have enough disposable income to afford it. It was niche.

Honestly, the ideal Star Wars hotel is probably built like Pop Century, with giant Star Wars props scattered about, and stairwells wrapped in storm trooper helments, etc.

I was watching a YouTuber check out the new hotel at Epic Universe and he mentioned almost in passing that he'd probably never have a similar experience with Disney doing a grand opening of a new hotel.

And I thought "why not? Why wouldn't WDW need to build a brand new property at some point in the relatively near future?"

Then I got to thinking what it would be and where you might put it on the property.

My dream idea is a Hollywood Tower Hotel themed exactly like the pre-Tower of Terror story on the ride.

What are your thoughts?

We've been on ToT several dozen times. Every time we get inside the building, I say to my family "come on, Disney. With the amount of money they charge, they can at least clean up the cobwebs from their rides." No one ever laughs. Not even the first time. But I keep saying it. One day, they will get it.
I love the theming of ToT. Top notch work. I'm not sure I would personally want my entire vacation to be in that theme though.
My ideal theming would be more Mary Blair inspired design, to the max.

How about a Marvel themed resort built in America and it would be based in Disneyland Resort and it would be Marvel's Avengers Campus Resort and it would be shaped like Avengers Tower and be an all-suite resort with suites themed around Captain America Spider-Man and all the other heroes of Marvel and feature a restaurant in the lobby that features a Marvel character breakfast and dinner that would be like a Marvel version of Goofy's Kitchen and i'm sure Marvel fans would love Avengers Campus Resort and it would also be on the monorail line too. If Disneyland Paris has a Marvel resort i'm sure Disney could do the same thing in America very easily too for Disneyland Resort

you could have two themed wings around central core.... Your choice to book: light side or dark side

I even think a general space themed futuristic hotel would do well
